For those of us following the WATA Games grading controversy, here's a lengthy article digging deeper into WATA's fuckery.

The tl;dr is that the journo that wrote this story just happens to be a sealed and graded game collector that allegedly purchased three WATA graded games from one of WATA's directors without realising it, and only made the connection when a post-it note with the director's email address fell out of a box in which one of the journo's recently purchased graded games was delivered.

Bear in mind this was after WATA went on the record and said that their employees weren't allowed to sell any WATA-graded games they may own as it would be a conflict of interest.

I'm not copying and pasting this article because it's too long, but I did archive it.

Edit: An archive of some of said director's current eBay listings at at the time of posting (selling under username m*s*h).

twelve minutes is out. a point and click puzzle thriller. you play the same 12 minute scenario repeatedly getting bits of story and puzzle concepts. theres 1 real path to progress the story but theres a lot of endgame states. with the walkthrough you can get it in 2 hours, if youre figuring shit out could take 8. im enjoying it although there are a lot of red herrings. i looked up what to do to get the next step and it was pretty obvious in retrospect but i never thought to do it.

i spent my first round stabbing the wife to death so i started off on my backfoot. id reccomend not looking up a walkthrough

I gave it a shot and quit after a couple of hours when it wanted me to figure out precisely the right order to mess with the detective, his daughter and a photo. Pretty sure I was doing the right stuff but fuck waiting minutes every reset fiddling with the sequence.
The reason that bugged me is because it started out cool with having lots of variant contingencies when you do things in a strange order, which makes sense for a time loop game. So suddenly having to go through things multiple times to crack the order they expected when I've already got the information I need felt lamer than it would have if the beginning weren't scripted so thoroughly.

Maybe worth trying if you miss CYOA flash game type shit. Weird wrists notwithstanding I liked the Taxi Driver art style.
 
Bad news for those that are looking forward to Psychonauts 2...

Is anyone looking forward to the new king of fighters? They just brought out a trailer for Ash crimson.

Kinda prefer it to the street fighter series now. Went through a phase where I was playing all the older games on MAME.
 
I think the "I consult on MANY games YOU don't know about" is a blatant attempt at saving her decaying public image and stay relevant. If it's true in any way or form it probably means she's slumming it with woke indies that can't possibly pay her normal fee to tour the facilities. Maybe they even expect her to do some kind of work and it makes her just as confused as Leigh Alexander was when the Sunset people asked her what she thought they paid her for.

Solution: contract-hire "women" from 3rd world countries which are just a bunch of dudes but you won't arse to prove it neither can they demand you to prove it, DO NOT HIRE TRANNIES.

PS2 emulation (and emulation in general if I'm speaking from the soul) fucking sucks so yeah play on original hardware if you can. I'm not particularly experienced with the Yakoozie series, but at least they're all super cheap to pick up - relatively speaking considering their cult classic status.

Been playing the new WarioWare game thanks to the generosity of the great fortune image boards. Its pretty fun if a bit anemic on content compared to the last game. It also has this weird local multiplayer focus despite no online multiplayer. I'd recommend it if you feel like you got a few hours to kill.

Gran Turismo 7's release date has been announced, it will be on March 4, 2022. AFAIK, the Gran Turismo games have been pretty solid and well-created for the most part, aside from Gran Turismo Sport feeling light on content, and the whole forced E-Sport aspect in GTS, so is there any fear that GT7 will somehow suck?

And this news doesn't help Forza Motorsport's case at all, as there's still almost no news about that game, let alone a release date.

I can't remember my epic games account name and I'm starting to suspect I used my facebook (since deleted) to sign up. Fuck, just wanted to play my free copy of gta5.
