Somehow that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Seeing as lucas has a history of skulking around bridges, crack houses and seedy alleys it makes perfect sense he'd be creeping around some abandoned garage in the middle of the night to let the crazy out. Its exactly the kind of behavior i'd expect from a psycho like him, like some insane serial killer who keeps his mask of sanity on during the day because he goes off deep into the woods in the middle of the night to let it all out and go batshit where nobody will see it

I'm legitimately surprised they would allow him or anyone else to do something like that. It raises all kinds of red flags in terms of what such a person might be doing in the middle of the night and the general safety of all the residents. That kind of laxness leads to incidents with people sooner or later

I have to agree. Surely the whole reason that he's at Mallon Place is to try to get some sort of re-regulation, to establish some sort of routine in his life, right? I mean, insofar as that's even possible, I suppose.

But yeah, the idea that he doesn't have a curfew, that he's just allowed to wander around at night, seems very strange if he's actually at Mallon Place, or any other facility. Didn't he even have a curfew when he was back in his fart box? It seems like he can come and go as he pleases, and he really does not seem to want to be in his room.

I mean, spending the middle of the night wandering the streets; not all that different from being homeless, right?

Something is up.

Even if he is allowed to do this, it indicates that Lucas REALLY does not want to be in the room.

I'm going to assume based on the reviews that Mallon place is staffed by minimum wage tard wranglers who probably have the legal maximum of tards in their care. It's more or less a scam house to collect tardbux from the government. They don't give a shit about the people living there.

I’m tickled by the image of Lucas waddling across the Monroe St bridge everyday just to sit on his ass and stare at the bars on Post.
Also explains why he’s now fixated on Bistango, he’d never trek all the way east to the actual college bars on Division where Fat Albert’s waiting for him. Bistango seems like an awful place to show up looking and smelling like Lucas.

It’s not *super* high end, but a more upscale, intimate spot. Full of professionals off work and business travelers staying at the Davenport. If you’re a regular they remember your name, drink, ask about the family, etc.
Last time I was in Spokane I met some nice boomer guy at Bistango. He retired from flying AF1/AF2. We drank scotch and talked airplanes, politics, and secret service stories. He showed me pictures of his daughter, ironically at the time she’d have been prime Lucas creeping material, and told me to add her on Facebook.

And he acts like he's completely oblivious to how financially fucked he is. He was like "Oh yeah I can go into Bistango and drop 50 bucks for a round of drinks for the ladies, no problem."

If they make no effort to ensure something as simple as a headcount they're asking for legal problems if somebody wanders off and harms someone or themselves, or does anything questionable. Those sorts of places have certain legal mandates that can get them in serious shit if they don't adhere to them at the very least

That said, it definitely seems like a shady place based on those reviews, which may explain how lucas got in there at all. Not that he'll last even there. I wouldn't be surprised to find out he pissed someone off his first day there and got told to keep his distance or else, which would explain his nightly activities. Though i'd take those reviews with a grain of salt, as one of them mentions the place taking 100% of some guys government check, which is a big legal no no. Those kinds of places take a percentage, sometimes a large percentage but its not legal to take all of it. If they're doing that they're doing so illegally and asking for legal trouble when one of those residents realizes that and reports it to whatever organization is providing their money

Something must have happened for him to have housing yet not want to sleep there.
