2) Francis is not going to deny him communion because Francis is a spineless modernist. He isn't stupid enough to force the bishops to give him communion, but he certainly isn't going to make them deny the Eucharist to him.
3) Biden is excommunicated because he has voted for pro-abortion laws, and doing that means you're automatically excommunicated (the fancy term for that is a latae sententiae excommunication). Whether this means that priests will actually stop him receiving the Eucharist is another thing.
4) "Tradcath grandmas" are actually thin on the ground. Baby boomers are far more open to liberal Catholicism than you'd expect, and trads are a small minority of Catholics in any case.

That is Obama's fault, but also Trump's since he had several years to replenish the supplies as well, though he wasn't the one who used them up, so he's less on the hook.

At the same time, this country has an obligation to its citizens to not bring in some terrorist asshole who’s going to strap a suicide vest to his chest and wander into a preschool.

Under a competent administration, neither of these things are mutually exclusive. Under the circumstances that this administration created, I’m pretty sure we failed at both. We’ve left not only people who helped us behind to die but also American citizens. At the same time, I have little doubt there are some really bad people who made it onto those planes.

To simplify this down to a desire to eat exotic food is mind numbingly stupid at best.

We have created a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions, lost the moral high ground on which we once stood, made our country less safe and have greatly diminished our standing on the world stage.

The idea that my complexion makes me adverse to seasoning my food is not the reason I have an issue with how this was handled.
