I don't understand what he is expecting here in the Pokémon rant

..but he has always cared about the views, it's a business, he's got to keep us occupied.
apparently his pokemon gameplay was the "mainstream" stream to balance out some "slow" stream. he didn't get the views he wanted, i.e. only the wheelchairs watched it, therefore he lectured his viewers.
I wonder if he ever put his twitch streaming channel on ads or not... but then again he is Phil, he thinks that growth comes out of thin air.

I don't understand what he is expecting here in the Pokémon rant. In the recent rant, at least it's clear what he is aiming for, which is everyone watching to give him money (become members).

But in the Pokémon rant, what are his viewers meant to do? They are already watching, while the streamer they are trying to watch play a game is complaining about other people not watching. Should they call their friends and family and tell them to watch this streamer barely playing a game?

Phil should be glad detractors exist, because we might be the only people who would subject anyone they know to DSP's khantent.

It’s rather obvious, no? He went AN HOUR into overtime and hope they appreciate it.(Hint! Hint! Tips!)

And surely any true fan of Phil will think nothing of it of either messaging everyone they know to watch Phil, or make an extra account for some double-Burnell-action.

(It takes LITERALLY five minutes you ungrateful scum, while Phil is giving A WHOLE HOUR of his time!)

Ironically, the “barely 400” are probably similar numbers to what Phil hopes to hit when “Hardcore Gaming Season” starts and he can play all DA NEW Games on stream.

I just think its hilarious how he has convinced himself these hot brand new releases are going to save his streams and revitalize his career. None of these games he hypes up ever end up doing much better than stuff he's already playing but he's still convinced that eventually there's going to be some magical new game that saves his career and brings in thousands of new fans/donations.

Its really just sad that he's still this reliant on new games. Like how do you not realize that if your streams are boring when the game is boring, that you are the boring one?

My favorite part is when he tells his audience that they have to roll with the punches, roll with the changes of him having to switch to YouTube without a single pang of irony. It’s not Phil who needs to adjust to a new platform (that he’s been using for over a decade); no, it’s the viewers! It’s not Phil who needs to meet consumer demand as provider of a service; it’s the potential consumers who need to adjust their expectations! All they need to do is consciously decide that they want the same stale content he’s been cranking out for the last eight years and then open their wallets.

Weekly PC Master Race reminder that Phil like every other “””variety””” streamer is sitting on a potential goldmine of content called Steam and all he needs to do to tap it is either swallow his pride and stream from his desk (a monumental task) or connect his PC to his TV and game from there (a labor impossible even for Hercules).

When is legit the last time he ever had a conversation with his chat during gameplay? Someone asks something, then it's 15 minutes rant mode without reading input.
