He already has a dead messageboard they won't post on. You really think they'll post on a discord where anything not directed at fellating the pig will be removed?
Yeah I really do. There's a much higher barrier to entry for Phil's forums than there is for joining a discord server. Look how many regulars he lost by moving from Twitch to YT. Being on a popular platform that people are already using counts for a lot. Not to mention all the features discord has that his ancient forums lack.

Phil being forced to debase himself further and crawl back to Twitch, begging on hands and knees to be re-partnered would be incredible. Remember, this is a guy with a disturbing obsession with people apologizing to him and asking his forgiveness. Sure he would try to spin it like some Twitch executive realized a mistake had been made and personally invited him back into the program ("I gave the bank permission to foreclose on my property"), but after this absurd rant last night where he straight up admits he is losing thousands a month without Twitch, nobody is going to believe that. I think we're in for quite the ride once he realizes that the Hardcore Gaming Season will do fuck all for his channel, just like Gamepass, the homo hats, and everything else.

How will he get it? Affiliate requires x number of streams y number of hours streamed and z number of average viewers.

I don't think you can shortcut to affiliate just because you used to have partnership.

Edit: the criteria is really low for affiliate. DSP will hit this but I think it still takes 30 days to complete

So if Phil wanted to apply for affiliate as soon as possible, he'd have to start streaming on Twitch... tomorrow? Interesting.

Twitch should only allow him back into the Partnership/Affiliate program if he makes a public apology to them.

So he could still get gifted subs if he's affiliate?
Yep. Affiliates effectively get 90% of the benefits of partnership. Partners just get more emotes, their subs processing fees covered, exclusive bounties for shilling new games for money, encoding options available all the time (Youtube gives this for anyone but only partners get it on twitch lol), and a few other niche benefits.

Hey @Piece of Peace,
Great video on the mortgage payments (linked here because it should be seen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGelQg0AO48 )

I just wanted to bring these 2 facts to your attention. 2014 was the year he bought the house so unless he refinanced the mortgage, his mortgage rate would be around 4.17%.

So his initial mortgage payment on what was assumed to be his loan in the mortgage calculator is actually lower than what you gave with his general estimate of 5%
No fees

Just wanted to help out with your calculations since you do way better work than most

I know this is late as fuck but did anyone catch what Phil said last night during his rant?

He said, and I quote, "I'm not exagerating. I used to make thousands and thousands of dollars on Twitch but now I don't make that kind of money anymore on YouTube."

Uhhhh what? You what? That little slip of the tongue had me almost pulling over while driving in this morning. If you remember he has gone on record saying he hasn't made any kind of big lifestyle changes since about 2018-2019 when Kat moved in. My question is, why did he need to do all those marathons and fundraisers—with the same goals and rewards, mind you—over on Twitch? Where the fuck did all those "thousands upon thousands of dahllahrs" go? Wouldn't he have to raise the tip goal more than fifty dollars, stream more to make up for that lost income? All those times he cried poor and how he made next to no money on Twitch, other than subs and cheers, what was that shit?

Far be from me to give DSP advice I know he would never take but: If he's looking for a new game and niche to exploit that he could mine for months he should make good on his anti-Blizzard stand by joining the wave of former WoW streamers that started playing FFXIV since the WoW drama started about a month ago.

It'd draw new viewers as it has a lot of attention right now since it has overtaken WoW as the biggest MMO. It'd please the anime coomers in his audience. It'd make the trolls happy and play into his victim narrative while reinforcing the 'us vs them' mentality among the paypigs. And best of all, from his perspective, it's incredibly easy to waste time in and get carried by your group in the duty finder when you do need to group.

Of course, there are myriad reasons he'd never do this. But I genuinely think it would the closest thing to 'the game' that could "save the stream".
yeah too bad square enix has its own sexual harassment too. but just isnt in your face news yet. so people dont care. just like phil. doubt he even knows but will praise square enix while shitting on blizz. but much like phil and alot of people in this case. once the square enix news makes it around the grape vine depending on how society sees its crimes phil will make his judgement on if he should shit on it or praise it. no moral background, just goes with whatever everyone else thinks but somehow he formed his own opinion about it

That and he’s basically admitting that he’s now forcing his fans to shell out thousands of dollars for the sake of keeping his frivolous lifestyle instead of dialing back his spending.
Phil wants his gacha, take-out, streaming services, restaurant buffets, triple ACs blaring, and groceries every week! It’s YOUR responsibility to pay for that!

It only gets more confusing when you consider that at least $1k/month of bills vanished into the ether when his credit card debt was discharged through his bankruptcy. In fact, he would have stopped paying his credit cards after he initially filed for bankruptcy in January of 2020, and he stopped paying his CT Condo mortgage back in April/May of 2019.

which means get ready for that begging, gonna be in full fkin effect

Affiliate gets the subs, channel point events and emotes. Partnership gets the points polls / bets and access to "exclusive content and support". i dont know much as im only an affiliate
they get money for the ads played on their channel too i think.

To throw in something. This is from Phil's glorious "I demand an apology" rant (and no this is not DSP raw, timestamp 33:58 if the url doesn't work properly)

It sounds to me as if he can get the Affiliate even without building up stats again (so coming October It may be "Twitch loves me and my streams" again) But in the same tone it also seems as if he must build up stats to gain partnership again but this would be the earliest in April 2022. And as he read himself, he MAY be eliglable for Affiliate in October. I said this before: imagine if Twitch would take him back in their support service would be flooded from a lot of people with all the bullshit Phil said about Twtich (including his pigsplaining about Bits). And if what Tevin has said is true that new apllicants for the Partner program are shown a result of their google search by Twitch I can't imagine that Phil will ever get back to be a partner.

More like $2-3k, just from credit cards. Add another $1200 or so for the CT mortgage.

All live commentary is improvised. And just because you do it, doesn't make you special or good at it, no matter how long you've speaking in front of people. Saying "Oh look there's a dolphin" when there's a mammal-like creature swimming in the water on screen is not waht anyone would classify as improv commentary, that's observational—which ironically he claims to be the best at. To improvise you have to be at least ten steps ahead of whatever you are commenting on, that way you can always think on your feet. The alternative definition according to Wikipedia is "Improvisation also exists outside the arts. Improvisation in engineering is to solve a problem with the tools and materials immediately at hand." Can you imagine Phil at work during a training exercise, like one of those nuclear test simulators like Homer had to do?

And love how he has to throw in "for a living" to flex on those anime-avatar-havin' virgin fags on Twitter.
