I misremembered it. there was a guy impersonating him on instagram and he got it back by registering it as a trademark. 13:05 for the good part of the 15 min video.

ofc copyright records are public and easily available on the internet in some countries and if you don't want your name on the internet you can always set up a company ( SA? )

Watched a couple of minutes of these today, and couldn’t help but notice two things.

At one point, DSP is cooking breakfast (right before he pours the bacon grease into the toilet WTF!!?) he bitches about the bacon not coming out right.

And there it was.

Like a 15 year old cry of autism, echoing through the ages.

Another thing is the way he treats Panda when they’re making his meatballs.

Multiple times she says something he just ignores it to focus on his all important lines. (“FAMILY RECIPE, alright?”)

Several times she says something that is so obviously meant to get a “Oh no babe, you’re gorgeous!”-Reaction or something similar (again, insecure teenager who got craddlerobbed, remember?) But Phil just ignores it and is as oblivious as when he got in an auto accident.

Holy shit, it’s a wonder she tolerated staying there for as long as she did!

yeah this isn't really a "how could phil become a better streamer" kind of thing, i really think he's just hard coded to beg and be a massive lazy piece of shit, but if he somehow managed to stop begging, would people find him more watchable? i know the begging and toxic greed and desperation give us a lot of content, i guess without that there wouldn't be much apart from the absolute shit gameplay, snorting, belching and robot like commentary

Nah, Phil’s begging isn’t what makes them unwatchable. It’s his toxic personality, obnoxious behavior and blatant boredom and disrespect for his audience. The begging is just the topping on the shit ice cream, so to speak.

Baring YouTube adding gifting or Twitch letting him back in…I think the gradual fading away has begun. The irony is…he’s never put a lot of emphasis on his sub count. He obviously loves the “right now” part of tipping…but once gifting took off, he just assumed his sub count would stay at a certain profitable level. The marathon goal and membership rant was telling…dude was genuinely befuddled…I don’t think there was any spin or faking at all. I agree somewhat. If YouTube implements gifting…I absolutely believe that Phil has several supporters that will be all about that. Phil’s always been a small fish streaming wise…he just got propped up by the tipping and gifting…take 1 of those away and he becomes irrelevant and eventually out.

He’d better watch what he says about some of those Big Fish once his lack of support and popularity start irritating him, too. Someone like Ninja has tons of fans but they’re mostly normies who won’t care if some nobody shit-talks him. The bigger Vtubers that I’ve seen by comparison are basically the new Asian idols, and have absolutely vicious fanbases to match. These are people whose nights are ruined if their favorite e-waifu has to cancel a stream. They also have shittons of time on their hands.

I think that his apparent desperation regarding his sub count is because he uses money from not tips (Patreon, subs, superchats) to pay for his utilities.

He's a bankrupt man, we already know he can't budget for shit. So I'm think he basically budgets like that: spend tips however he wants, and use the money he receives once a month for actual bills.

Since that monthly money took a severe hit because of his move to YouTube, he started getting desperate because he realized that he started to need to save money he got from tips, otherwise his bills couldn't get paid.

I think that's the origin of the bacon sweats we are witnessing. It's obvious that Phil makes more than enough money to sustain his quality of life, the problem is that he now needs to budget a bit more, and he prefers to beg and screech at his fans instead of budgeting.

DSP has been declared “as good as dead and gone” multiple times. The Youtube debacle, Twitch, the bankruptcy that was supposed to leave him destitute sucking cock for “tips” on the streets of Seattle or moving back to CT?

He has survived it all.

For all we know, some loony tunes King Tut (Or several of them) will descend on him in a few months and throw thousands of dollars his way every month until he manages to chase them away.

I wouldn’t be surprised if DSP is still around, begging and snortin’ after even the Farms are gone, closed by some socialist tranny protection E law or something.

Is it likely? Maybe not. But prepare yourself for DSP surviving even this downturn.

Having said that, I tend to agree with you that it seems like DSPs inevitable circling of the drain of Khantent creation seems to have begun.

There’s plenty he could do to prevent this or prolong his “career”. But he won’t. Because he’s DSP.

Likewise he’s actually not in that bad of a position.

He could easily sell the Gout Mansion, move to somewhere way cheaper and combine the 200-250K he’s likely to make on selling the house with streaming to supplement his income.
(DSP could buy a house for 50-100K and still have 100K to invest or use as savings. He wouldn’t make 300$ a day, but he wouldn’t NEED to either.)

But again: He won’t. Because he’s DSP.
