Long ago, when the atomic age was still young, the Anime Kings played a game of great and terrible power. But these Weeb Shadow Games erupted into a war that threatened to destroy the entire world. Until a brave and powerful mangaka locked the magic away, imprisoning it within the mystical Millennium Items. Now, 5,000 years later, a man named Vic unlocks the secret of the Millennium Puzzle. Tern said you guys were interested in voice synthesis as it pertains to voice acting and gaming. I've been keeping an eye on this technology for it's application in gaming and have noticed that it has, as a field, begun to advance explosively in the last few years. This seems to primarily be driven by AI, allowing an awareness of the context, emotion, and voice characteristics to be used in the blending of the synthesized voice. Not too surprisingly, nVidia has been at the forefront, but there are others. You may have even seen the really obnoxious Speechelo adds on Youtube, and as much as their adds make me want to avoid their products, they do have some impressive sounding synthesized voice.

You are best typewriter. My reply function is still broken, but I'm gonna go check out all the stuff you linked and a HUGE thanks for directing me to The Broken Staircase List. I have a few Reiken items to drop in the Tranny Sideshows thread and then I'll come back around and read up on Zero.

I kinda wish there was a way to merge Zero and Patrick's threads together without it turning into War & Peace because I feel like they would both hate knowing they share a thread (since they seem to really hate each other). Also because they are both pissants.

On a closing note, SirLurks said for anyone who goes and plays around with the voice synth. programs and sites to carefully read the TOS and privacy pages. At least one of the programs will obtain the rights to use your voice if you generate anything using their site.

The past few weeks as this thread ticked towad 5,000 pages I thought for sure we'd get the appeals decision before page 5,000. I guess you can't expect anything other than stupidity from Weeb Wars. I'd know since I've read every single goddamn page of this thread, even back when there'd be 15 pages a day because of Ron or Shane sperging.

He's dead because it was meant to be. No matter what he or others could have changed he'd still be dead. That's just how time works. It just so happens that he died fat and stupid.

@Sir Lurksalot similar idea on one of the Gems Lumberyard is going to have.
