there were plenty of helo pilots in the ANA im sure a bunch are taliban now. flying a helicopter isnt all that difficult, the hardest thing is probably keeping a steady hover. Any old enlisted guy in the army can take the test and try to be a pilot and then they become warrant officers after training. The dudes that flew i knew always compared it to like driving a bus. Maintenance is probably whats gonna ground these things eventually and lack of spare parts.

Just in case anyone is wondering, yes the Dems are plowing headfirst into the Texas abortion issue without realizing how the bodily autonomy arguments are going to play to normies with their simultaneous pushing of coof mandates. Sure Dems, Minnesota is very at risk of passing similar abortion laws as Texas….when hell freezes over.

Doing the math, NPR poll is D+17 at Biden with 43% approval, means Biden is in the low 30s by this one. And others like PBS, Marist, Economist, YouGov, Morning Consult are showing similar results with similar breakdowns of voting demographics.

If it's a weeklong hiatus, they'll all come back just in time for September 11th, which would be a prime date for a symbolic act of terror that could further humiliate the Biden cabal while keeping it fresh in the minds of normies. Incarceration is expensive, financially, logistically, and in terms of PR goodwill.
It's far easier to subvert a government by metaphorically 'pricking the pressure points' (with a lot of cash, I should add), then it is to rule over an unwilling peoples. Ultimately, China doesn't really care about Afghanistan or its people, its interests are limited to the rare earths under the earth, and the narrow transporation corridor that will form part of its 'New Silk Road'.

This is not intended to derail this thread so if anyone has an answer feel free to pm me. Disclaimer out of the way, I was thinking about this a couple days ago when the ban came into effect, I cannot for the life of me come up with a way to support vaccine mandates but be agaisnt this abortion restriction. There's no way to rationalize holding both of those positions simultaneously that I could come up with.
