He usually brags if he files a legal action/complaint because he thinks he's being a tough guy by using the system against his enemies. I know he hates his lawyer that represented him for his harassment charge because Russ wanted a jury trial. He thought if he could just explain, he'd get off scot free. Presumably, the lawyer told him (and his parents) he'd be hamburger if his case went to trial. Russ didn't believe it of course because he thinks he can explain his way out of anything. His parents probably told him if he wanted a trial, he was on his own, so he took the guilty plea even though naturally, "he didn't do anything." I know he filed a bar complaint against that lawyer he hit on because she didn't hire a guy who sexually harassed her even before he got hired. At least, he said he was going to file a bar complaint. He says he's going to do a lot of things and doesn't follow through.

Where though?

He used to post his delusions of grandeur on Facebook, but that's gone silent since everyone in his life stopped interacting with him. His Twitter is just PAC fantasies and horniness. His Instagram is just thirst and increasing bitterness. The Russ who would write an actual book about his plights is a thing of the past. He tries to use his court filings as an outlet, obviously, but that barely works. And he has no one in real life to talk to. He's not getting the polite, nominally supportive asspats from social media anymore, so he can't tell himself that his thousand Facebook followers are on his side.

I don't think he's changed, but he's lost his outlets. This is what I was trying to get at in my previous post.

If he were a slightly different sort of maniac, I'd wonder if the "people close to Greer" who assure him that his "trolls" are desperately unhappy people is actually a therapist. He's less reactive, though I have no doubt he's still seething. He's just seething quietly. Some might see this as progress, but I suspect it's something much darker.

But what do I know? I'm just going to keep laughing until it's (suddenly, tragically) not funny anymore.

I agree with you that his options for bitching outlets have seemed to dry up, either due to Shit-Lips abandoning them because he wasn't getting the "support" he expected, or because the support was never there to begin with. I think his Facebook got permanently banned. He was probably trying to advertise his PAC and Facebook is draconian about anything that might deal with prostitution due to FOSTA. That would explain why he hasn't posted on Facebook lately. As for his parents reeling him in, if they wanted more control over him, they wouldn't have let him move to Vegas. I think they paid for his move because it would get him out of Utah and away from Erika. There was probably a persistent fear that he'd find a way to Erika's house to try to have the last word.

I really don't think the Greers have as much influence over Russhole's life as you seem to think. And aside from helping him get a lawyer, which has never been confirmed though is highly likely, I don't think they help him financially either. We have never, not even once, had any evidence that they try to control Russ or give him money. He's never lived anywhere or done anything that he couldn't afford himself with working a basic full-time job in the areas he's lived. It's always been room rentals or shitty apartments, and he has few expenses outside of rent and utilities. He was able to go a bit more extravagant with his frivolous spending last year due to the stimulus money the government gave to everyone, but outside of that he lives a very basic-bitch life.

We got word that the Greers did indeed pay for Russ's lawyer. But that may have been the last straw. Both of the times he's been in trouble with the law were because of his uncontrolled thirst. I wonder if they told him they were done after this, because they raised him better than to be a whoremonger and harasser of women.

And yeah, he probably blew all his stimulus cash on his Yovanna video and AGT audition vid. Did he have to pay a fine for his guilty plea? I don't recall.
