In fairness to how retarded this hoax plot seems, getting Hector (respected in the emulation community, no reputation for lying) and Wayne (vouched for by Hector and with alleged ties to Near/Byuu) both claiming to confirm beyond a reasonable doubt to wikipedia approved "reliable sources" almost immediately that Byuu was dead and the suicide is real was the only win condition they needed for 95% of the world if Byuu never planned to resurface in a public facing community.

Anyone with half a cynical brain can see that wikipedia will print and protect lies to the bitter death even when they can be proven to be false after the fact, so long as a RS reports the "fact" initially and no RS reports a retraction later, especially for niche corners of the internet and their lore.

By the time anyone else can prove the suicide did not happen, the world will have moved on and the journalists in question will take Hector's explanation at face value when the first report after does not contain the verification, by the time the second report comes through and there's still nothing the hope is that nobody with connections to an RS will notice, or even if they do, they won't care, and even if they care, that they won't be able to pull strings to get an article contradicting the RSes that are already cited.

After all, how do you convince a journalist of newsworthiness for an 8-9 month old story that literally only hard core emulation communities, trannies, and the "evil cyber villains of the internet" care about? You won't get far using journalistic integrity or ethics as an argument that's for sure. I can think of some youtubers that might actually be interested if the second update comes through and we've still got nada, but youtubers are not "reliable sources" even if they speak 100% truth, so you're still shit out of luck.

The only reason USA today ran with it in the first place is because muh bullying and harassment angle which is popular, combined with gaming outlets gobbling Marcan's dick to provide enough evidence of "newsworthiness" for the editor to greenlight the story.

If Twitter was the POTUS in 2000, we would have nuked Iraq. I mean, come on. We had CONFIRMED REPORTS of WMD and YELLOW CAKE URANIUM! Also, I hear that Saddam guy is a pretty bad apple! So WHAT if Twitter Sr. went to war with them first? They just hate us for our freedom genderqueer status!

And yes, I l33t-h4x3d a long-post reply with my blackbelt in URL-fu. 8)

tbh if byuu really wanted to disappear, he could have faked his death and the reason could have been covid, atleast that would have been convincing and believable, no one would probably question it either

but cant blame covid on kiwifarms :^)

inb4 KEE***WEEEE****F***AA**RR*MMs SERVERS ARE IN WUHAN AND CAUSED A GLOBAL PANDEMIC - some fucking troon on twitter probably

As Napoleon allegedly put it: "history is a series of lies agreed upon".

Already been posted.

Has anyone figured out an actual reason for Byuu to do this in the first place? I mean, the thread was super short and basically inactive, and all Byuu has managed to do by faking his death is cause Null a major headache and get a bunch of spergs to ree at Cloudflare. Articles by vulture outlets don't mean much when all they ever post is the same garbage that is only read by the faggots who agree with the title. Why was this course of action deemed the right one? He could have just deleted his accounts, made new ones, and disappeared without a trace.

The DDOS must have been extremely expensive. Did Near blow all that 120k paying for a persistent and high level DDOS? And if that was his idea why not just initiate that without contacting Null at all. This whole thing is just nonsensical.

I also think that's the main reason people are against it. I first found out about KF from a polish friend of mine who basically said "it's dangerous if you're not careful, but that's the internet." and the rest I gathered my own opinion of through being here.
I can imagine if I was a twitter user and all I ever heard about kiwifarms was "theres people in this forum harassing me and they call me slurs and leaked my address because I was gay, heres pics of their stinky threads" along with like 30 other people saying the same thing, and that was my first impression, I probably wouldnt be too quick to defend it. That being said they're still wrong but it's really unfortunate that they were kinda doomed to hate on KF the moment they learned of it.
If you were a Twitter user you'd literally be retarded so obviously you'd believe anything no matter how utterly fucking dumb it was.

Whatever it was, I promise you it's something very, very stupid. The reason he was going by "Near" in the first place is because he flamboyantly nuked his entire "Byuu" identity over some sort of petty online bickering. I think people were making fun of his binary patch format or something.
He seems like the kind of guy who just can't calm down, ever. It may well be that having a bland 13-page thread here at Villains HQ really did drive him batty.

I think he felt guilty about his friend CIA Nigger getting disavowed and turbodoxed because of him.

He actually mentioned to Null something like 'they doxed my friend to get at me' and since he basically had no friends I'm thinking he might be meaning CIA Nigger, who got megadoxed a month previously for deleting byuu's thread. Byuu's thread was never damning, no actual dox, not especially meanspirited, nobody really cared, but CIA Nigger's was several orders of magnitudes worse. Not only did we get his fulldox and his fetishes, he betrayed us and it's extremely likely that certain people here took that to heart and were fucking with him secretly.

"Last seen: 6 minutes ago"

who's gonna break the news to that faggot "friend" of his on twitter that the cunt is alive and make him eat crow for constantly jerking to the farms killing byuu and all that good shit he was spouting?

What a great confirmation... Inb4 "Was just a prank bruh we got you guyz lololololol".
How the fuck does he even know what the cut off is? Why does he not give us any actual concrete evidence? Why is he so fat and unattractive?

That’s solid logic. The only potential monkey wrench is that dpdev could have changed hands in 2018 too. Or he just may have switched hosts or renewed it. Any chance that someone else just bought the site and company from him and kept it similar?
I get what ya saying, but to counter that, the domain points to the same IP as gamegenie.eu/us which is extremely unlikely to be a coincidence - they both use the same hosting provider, and are on the same server.

Generally if you register an expired domain, it will update to the new registrars name servers by default (therefore changing where the domain points to)

When Byuu still isn't on the list 6 months from now, I wonder what hectors excuse will be this time? If there any US suicides in japan but the date isn't close, hes gonna claim it was byuu. Ppl want it to be true so bad they throw logic totally out the window.when it comes to Hector,he's not more entitled to be given information regarding the suicide than anyone else is,yet they mental gymnastics into buying that he could just call japan authorities & get details & confirmation, likely before Byuus relatives were informed. I don't know dick about international laws or policies, but one would think that somehow the US Embassy or office would be the ones to handle that

Even then him constantly sperging about other bullshit but then suddenly want everyone to take him seriously is already backfiring, if he really wants to be left alone about this shit then he could just shut up

However it's funny to see him dig himself a hole so keep on digging hector

He's gonna ignore it and block anybody who brings that up.
