Yea BK/MDs/Whataburger are judged by how long it takes them to make the food in my mind, the consistency of the food is pretty much the point of being a franchise owner, you are given the supply chain and instructions on how to make a similar customer experience to the thousands of other franchises.
I don’t know how many of you ever worked fastfood jobs, but they have ACTUAL FUCKING VIDEOS they make you watch before you’re ever allowed near the burger making table. Videos that tell you exactly how many times you have to press the ketchup dispenser, and how many pickles to put on a burger.
Of course those standards sometimes slip the closer you are to the local Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The policy is also always the same if it’s not a “standard product”, regardless of whether you’ve eaten some of it or not: You get a new one. Fresh off the rack and an apology.
