I know they don't count or whatever, but he's been pulling in consistently above average Super Chat money so far in September (big ups to the dent-head troll Super Chatters for contributing over ten percent of that by the way, fucking retards).

Oh course, he sure as fuck isn't going to highlight that fact for his audience or anything.

It's basically the Leanna hospital story all over again. It's all about how he was inconvenienced, how he was hungry, how he was worried and/or impatient. Kat (like Leanna) is a mere detail in DSP's never-ending story about seeking expensive pigslop to shovel down his neck.

he *is* expecting money for his streams, but the "not mandatory" part is the amount of them
he *is* a variety streamer who expects an influx of viewers during this high release season, but he has a specific audience of a few thousand people

I don't know if he enters in auto-pilot mode when he tries to bring in the money with such segments. His thoughts don't follow a path, it's just words from a certain point.
I'll just keep this from this segment "always a business" "expected to give money, but not expected to give much".

Phil could lean into the TIHYDP/gamer dad market.

There are a lot of streamers really good at games, but there’s a huge hole in the marketplace for streamers who aren’t.

“Why would anyone watch that?”

Dood, think of all the people who were gamers a a decade or two ago, but then got busy with their careers and life.

Think of all the gamers who aren’t into the “git good” mindset but just want to relax and have fun.

There’s definitely a big underserved niche of people who want to see someone play without being reminded that they’ll never again have the reflexes of a 20 year old.

The problem of course is Phil. While you may not need to be the most charismatic guy to make it work, you need to be chill, nice and entertaining, and your chat of gamer dads talking about old times will do the rest.

Phil is boring, toxic, incredibly rude, disgusting and disrespectful. And bans people for “not paying attention to him”
