For the cultists in the US that want me to get the vaxx, I would like to have the following simple questions answered:

1. Why are people that are getting the vaccine still getting COVID? Seriously, I've talked to three people who have gotten sick from COVID with pretty heavy symptoms (none of them hospitalized and all survived), all of them got the shots. The people I know that are unvaxxed either haven't gotten it or at the very least, haven't shown any symptoms. Why is that happening? Also, why is the most vaxxed country (Israel) in the world having a huge surge in COVID cases?
2. COVID has a >99.5% survivability rate, and those dying from it are 1) Senior Citizens and 2) Have some other health issue like obesity, diabetes, or the like. I do not fall into any of those categories, in the last 18 months, the most severe symptoms I've gotten from any sickness is a runny nose that lasted two days. I've been to the gym, to restaurants, and even out of state and I'm not dead yet and the people I know and love that are in the danger categories are vaccinated. So explain to me why I should be so concerned about this?
3. The director of the CDC said last year that masks are more effective than vaccines (https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/16/cdc...ore-protection-than-coronavirus-vaccine-.html). If that is the case, then as long as I wear my mask everywhere I go, I should be okay then, right?
4. If this is about controlling the virus and not some kind of weird power game by our government, then why are other methods of treating the virus being ignored and discouraged? India and Japan are using ivermectin, and Trump was treated with hydroxychloroquine and made a full recovery fairly quickly. I mean if we had multiple treatments and/or cures for cancer or AIDS, we'd be using them all and not just one, right?
5. The thing I keep hearing nowadays is that the vaccine makes the symptoms of COVID less severe (which opens a whole door about it not being a very good vaccine, but whatever). We also know now that vaccinated people are still spreading COVID. My question is, if their symptoms are less severe, how am I, a dirty unvaxxed, a significant threat to them? Aren't they are more of a threat to me?
6. What is the acceptable level level of vaccination for us to get back to normal? I've heard 50%, 70%, and Fauci flat out dodged the question when asked about it. Can our government please commit to a an acceptable level because let me tell you, 100% is not going to happen (unless they start murdering the unvaxxed which at this point, I'm afraid to give them ideas).

I will answer in the style of the BBC world reporter I listened to on the way home from work.

1. The vaccines are safe and effective. You have to expect a few hundred million vaccinated people will get infected, it happens with every vaccine. Also Delta

2. Anyone can die of Covid. Every day there are literal children dying of Covid. Are you a monster? Plus the Delta

3. Masks are proven to work. Of course they're not perfect, like the vaccines they reduce spread, but the Delta is more infectious.

4. Ivermectin is a toxic animal medication, The hospitals are overrun with idiots over dosing on this stuff, Horse dewormer cannot cure Covid. Do not take it, get vaccinated instead.

5. The vaccines provide good protection against Covid. The vaccinated are strongly immune but they can also easily catch Covid from the unvaccinated. Maybe because the unvaccinated are cooking deadly variants? Like the Delta.

6. 100% of the world's population need to be jabbed. Yes even then you will still catch Covid. Yes you may even die from Covid. But you will be vaccinated and that's important to keep us all safe, especially with the Delta going around.

The team members involved in this excerpt of an internal meeting are seeing the highest level of COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths so far in this pandemic - despite having safe and effective vaccines widely available. This was a frank discussion among medical and communications professionals on how we can more accurately convey the severity and seriousness of what’s happening inside of our hospitals and throughout our communities. Specifically, the data we have been sharing does not include patients who remain hospitalized for COVID-19 complications even though they are no longer COVID-19 positive, so it does not provide a complete picture of the total impact of COVID-19 on our patients and on our hospitals. We continue to be concerned with the amount of misinformation in our communities and consistently strive for more ways to be transparent and tell the whole story. I didn't expect them to bin it off this quick, but a win is a win. IF the vax pass makes a return, i think it will be more like 'fast-pass' or 'priority boarding' kind of affair. Where those who were jabbed get some sort of benefit, rather than those who weren't jab suffering consequences.

For example, if Glastonbury sells their tickets to those who were jabbed, same with footy matches, Cinemas and Bars doing 'jabbed only' nights, like singles nights etc.

Near 100% cover and the virus is still raging away. So maybe they realise they're flogging a dead horse trying to get the remaining 3% of mainly young people who haven't already caught Covid jabbed by making them show their papers to go to the pub? No, that would make too much sense. More likely the big retail and pub chains lobbied against it and the polling wasn't trending well.

The doomsday scenario is that the virus will evolve into an 'oh crap' variant that will completely circumvent the spike antibodies. The recombination needed to cook a strain like this up in a lab is insanely easy and there is no way for us to know whether such a strain is a result of natural viral evolution or is man made. There is only one country in the world that has point blank refused to use any mRNA or Adenovector vaccine on their population and so doesn't have to worry about spike resistant strains.

Such a strain will tear through the vaccinated population and will likely result in vaccine enhanced infection with significantly higher mortality that the original Wuhan virus.

All of the public health experts who are currently demanding 100% jab rates understand this risk. No doubt many of the politicians following their advice also understand this. Clearly they've decided to use the unvaccinated as an insurance policy. If it blows up in their faces they will blame the refusers for 'allowing Covid to circulate'. Most people will believe this.

Nurses in KY demand to be either allowed to work or be served termination papers. The hospital refuses and some snotty RN gives her fake happy attitude. The fat fuck security guard doesn't even bring up calling the police, because they know they're both wrong.

I knew shit like this would start happening. The fact is, they don't want to serve her term papers because 1) they know she cannot be barred from receiving state benefits, they are absolutely talking out their ass to scare people about this. Even going so far as to say you'd be barred from receiving FOOD STAMPS. LOL! They don't check shit for EBT recipients outside of criminal record and current income. They are not going to turn you away regardless of why you've been fired. They're full of it, don't let them tell you otherwise. HOWEVER, to apply for any benefits you must have proof of termination. This is almost always written, if it's not, good luck. You'll be waiting indefinitely while your local Unemployment office calls your former employer for proof. That employer can just not fuckin answer. It happened to a lot of people early in the pandemic. This hospital is attempting to punish these nurses by withholding state benefits, while also covering their own asses since every unemployment claim raises the taxes for their hospital next fiscal year.

And 2) they want to pressure nurses to come back in a few months. There are not enough nurses in the US, period. They cannot replace all these people. It will be a crisis. In upstate NY a hospital has stopped doing deliveries. What's next? This hospital claims they hired almost 200 NEW employees. I call bullshit, I bet the majority of traveling nurses.

Edit: Forgot to add, there is a lot of talk of replacing all these US nurses with immigrants. Literally flying in doctors from the Phillipines and shit. I'm good on all that, thank god I don't go to the hospital ever. I don't need some heavy accented, 3rd world educated foreigner lecturing me on vaccines. Sorry.

The actual number of recovered Covid cases in the population was around 20% as of June 2021. This has been confirmed through antigen screening of 1.5 million individual blood donors. This is around half of the previous estimate from the CDC.

This tells us that

1) Covid is way less infectious than being claimed. With an R0 of around 4 half of the entire population should have contracted Covid over 18 months. Clearly that isn't the case

2) The PCR tests are not reliable. The only explanation for the mis-match is that a LOT of people were showing positive for Covid who either had some other viral infection or who had nothing wrong with them. How many poor bastards have rocked up to hospital with a bad back or chest pain, have had a swab rammed up their nose and been carted off to a Covid ward when they didn't have Covid? A lot is my guess. How many of them then went on to actually catch Covid while in hospital? How many of them died?

3) Many of the people who think they've had Covid, and are immune, never had Covid in the first place. This is particularly concerning for people who are morbid or old.

It would be trivially easy to confirm a positive PCR with a follow up Antigen test. They're still refusing to do that. Why?

If Covid is a lot harder to catch than the doomspergers are claiming then the whole '2 weeks to flatten the curve to save the health care system' would never have gotten off the ground. We would never have had lockdowns. So I guess there's the answer.
