US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I guess I discussed this in another thread but will give a short summary here. I have observed three camps of thinking for 9/11.

First camp believes the muzzies pulled it all off on their own.

Second camp believes the muzzies did it with aid from the Jews, Mossad, CIA and the neocons in the Bush administration

Third camp believes that the planes were a red herring to distract people from the Jews, Israel and the Neocons in the Bush administration blowing up the towers.
I think the muzzies did it mostly on their own, the glowies had some inkling something was going to happen and decided to let it happen to capitalize on it and were then hit by an incredible windfall of political capital, more than they could've ever hoped for and let them try their hand at all the neocon pipe dreams in the middle east they'd been fantasizing about for decades. All of that only to run into a brick wall with both Afghanistan and Iran that turned them into quagmires good for MIC grifting and little else and not the springboard into a Saudi/Israeli globohomo dominated middle east that might have been.

The thing about any civil war scenario is that the elites can and WILL flee the fuck out of the country when the bad shit hits, especially if (as in the case of civil wars) everything collapses overnight and they can't even be safe in their gated communities with private security. They'll flee and claim to be "in exile" while expecting their supporters kill enough "rebels" to allow them to safely come back home from Canada, Europe, or wherever they flee to in order to wait out the carnage.
The thing about doing that is that such blatant displays of cowardice tend to shatter the morale of any supporters you may have. Not many people are willing to fight for someone not even willing to stay in their country, and it isn't like the modern left is particularly overflowing with brave, capable fighting men to begin with.

Foreign support is the big problem imo, if these politicians can seem legitimate enough to start sending NATO Soldiers to the USA, you're going to be in a far worse position.

This is why it's important to prevent them from settling in any other nation, too.

HAHAHAHAHA... "Donald Trump is already falsely claiming massive voter fraud in California. Now he’s returned to the subject, raising the prospect that the outcome of next week’s recall election could follow the same divisive path as last year’s presidential election."

Washington was a lolcow of a general who scooped victories out of the jaws of certain defeat due to the elements suddenly turning in his favor, such as fog rolling in when he needed it most.

I'm not much of a history buff but, to me at least, his value to our country wasn't that he was a Napoleon/Alexander/Ceaser-esque tactician but rather when the dust settled he had every opportunity to become a King (or at the very least set tyrannical precedents for the executive branch) but he didn't. He was the first to be given power and he humbly passed it along to another.

Plenty of people will armchair quarterback and claim they'd do the same but you don't need to look any further than Reddit mods or most any individual given a drip of power over another to see how they'd really act. Despite his flaws at the end of the day the man put liberty and freedom before his own ambition.

Trump's a grifter, but I don't think that means he doesn't have human complexity.
Let's put it this way. Trump cares about 3 things, in this order:
1. himself
2. Israel
3. America (maybe)

#3 isn't even on the list of any other candidate in recent decades. There's the difference.

Trump’s business is real estate and the branding of his name. If America goes down, he goes down harder. Trump literally has his business model being tied to success as an AMERICAN!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

*insert hot women in bikinis, guns, explosions, and bald eagle memes here*

He literally cannot drop the country for that reason. So if his passion for America is fake then he is faking it as a means of financial survival. So the United States of America is actually number 2.

Bernie Sanders lost the primary in a pretty convincing way to Biden didn't he? I thought that was message loud and clear from their voter base, "no socialists, thank you." and yet they keep these jokers around instead of stonewalling them, why? Is AOC that much of a media darling?

I'm not gonna throw my hat in the Trump come back, but unlike Bernie, Biden only barely beaten, and Trump is the second most voted cadidate in the American history, and looks like he ain't going away, more so if Biden keeps fucking things up.

So, again, why are the dems still carrying this ball and chains named AOC and the justice democrats, just let them have it and, I dunno, find the next Bill Clinton?
Joe Biden was hovering between 5th and 7th place in the early primary states as one of two candidates who didn't promise to give unlimited free healthcare to illegal immigrants. You oughtn't to forget that.

Yeah why would anyone ever suspect the same people who absolutely, 100%, blatantly rigged the national election last year might rig a smaller, less protected election that would nonetheless set the national narrative about their party losing power and a red populist / MAGA wave coming over them and cost them a seat that's "safe?" Why would aaaaanyone ever suspect the people known for cheating might cheat?

It's a mystery to everyone.

Obviously this is just conspiracy theorycrafting, which is why they're calling it a false claim before the event has even occurred. And when he gets 99% of the vote with more votes than in Californian history, we'll just all pretend that's kosher -- or else the techbros that we outsourced our ability to communicate to will remove our first amendment rights again.

I hear, motherfucker had like, 30 goddamn dicks.

And two sets of testicles.

I'm happy with going with 538 for the approval rating.

I'll make the name match the profile pic.

I want to match the pic with the avatar.

I might need to ask a photoshopper to help out if Bidens approval rating is 41%

I humbly submit a 9/11 commemorative image I made for your consideration. I still have the unflattened .pdn too if anyone wants it.

A man who's name they haven't released. LOLOLOL. Since when don't they release a name and plaster his Mug Shot all over social media... but no.. it must be true. LOLOL

This private employer vaccine mandate for the asserted good of the pooblick healf seems much less legally sound when employees in public sector unions can get out of it merely because their employer is the gubbmint and their union can lean on the gubbmint to give members speshul condishuns like no vaxx mandate... the asserted good of the pooblick healf? Lol gf

Right, normally polls follow a pretty basic pattern. First you, through a mixture of phonecall and online means, obtain a sample of voters from a given area. You ask some basic identifying questions "Are you registered to vote, have you voted, are you likely to vote" etc. From there, you ask a series of increasingly more specific questions.

This is where the first bit of fuckery begins. The questions are generally -very- misleading, For example: "Do you approve of increased measures to ensure vaccination" (That is a verbatim example from CNN). Frankly, the fact that question -only- got a raw 64% yes response is amazing. It's so god damn broad and open that everyone is like "yes". But it's also priming the pump, we already agreed SOME increased measures are fine. So the next questions are very, very slowly more severe, and lead to additional positive answers.

Now comes the second fuckery. The next bit is to compile the data to see what kind of range of answers you got. The traditional value is to put them into Republican/Democrat/Independent groups. This is where oversampling comes in. Now, ove sampling is -not inherently bad-. What is normally done is you weigh your numbers based on national averages or regional averages, so they balance it out. To massively oversimplify, if you know there is a 50/50 split of Dems to Republicans, but you got 12 Democrats and 8 Republicans you'd weight the democrat responses down to 0.83 and weigh the republican responses up by 1.25 so they both are 'equal' to 10.

The democrats, and CNN, technically do this. But they -massively- overweight Democrats.

This leads to our final bit of fuckery, Time period. CNN in particular is now taking 'polls' over the span of months and compiling them into one to provide a more 'accurate' view. This is bullshit. People's views change over time, it's why we use graphs to indicate changes over time in the day to day. No poll is accurate out to more than a week which is why they are generally shorter. Polls are an indicator of the movement of opinion, not the opinion in and of itself. In isolation, any given poll can only tell you a snapshot -at the time- of an opinion. Having them spread that out over months is going to garble it with utterly useless info and be utterly meaningless.
a short clip from an oldie that demonstrates some part of this fairly quickly:

At one point the Dems will have to adress this won't they? They can't have this constant tug of war with pie in the sky politicians driving a lot of the public image the democrats have now.

It seems the progressive democrats like Squad can play ball with the old guard when push comes to shove, but I don't get why the rest of the moderate democrats still entretain this small fraction when they are doing so much damage to them.

Bernie Sanders lost the primary in a pretty convincing way to Biden didn't he? I thought that was message loud and clear from their voter base, "no socialists, thank you." and yet they keep these jokers around instead of stonewalling them, why? Is AOC that much of a media darling?

Yeah, I got nothing... Trump might have taken over the Republicans, but the Dems seems like to be in a real tight spot huh?
having hung around in progressive leftist discords, that are super political, before finding you guys, the general sentiment there is that the non-progressive Dems are too hung up on decorum and should accelerate all-in to progressivism and take the republicans and trumpists by surprise while doing so. funnily enough, I actually sort of agree that a competent (notice me using this word, it's very important) campaign that pushed this could certainly work in breaking through the deadlock.

except this is the point that the progressive left that hates establishment dems, like Biden, always chooses to neglect - they have zero fucking prior experience and no humility to temper themselves with, which leads to consistently blinding themselves with their own ideology! watching the handlers from behind Biden direct their meat puppet this past 1 month, I think, is the first indication of what you can expect from progressives, if they would ever get to be fully in charge, and even before then it was horseshit like Milley's white rage speech lmao. and ofc the other camp, that I assume they are infighting with behind the scenes in the admin atm, would be the establishment dems that did a ton of cocksucking rewatches of the West Wing and operate on insanely outdated principles themselves.

so love or hate Trump (and I actually don't have a high opinion of him either), at the very least what you can say about him is that a) he has had some prior experience and b) he's actually taken serious good care of his health and c) is still willing to keep playing the game, as it were, for his inevitable run. all points that absolutely none of the dems now have in their stock, including Sanders (whom I actually liked more, but who got buried first by Clinton and establishment dems, and then fucked up his second run against Biden and now his org is basically selling itself to him, in spite of everything that's happened). so my prediction is that either the USA will limp onwards towards a more stable transition into whatever is in store of its future under a republican leadership...or it will implode, spectacularly and violently, under a democrat one, as they cater more and more to the insane progressive push, but never do so with any amount of competency or temperance to soothe the transition.

Ha! Former Democrats are the only thing keeping the GOP afloat.
I don't know. Alot of people I know who support Trump have voted Republican for years despite what Rinos want to believe.
Manchin switching parties would be a bit of a mistake for him. At best, he'd be just another Republican if he swapped parties whereas as a blue dog democrat, he has considerable power over the Democrats so long as they have a literal razor thin majority.
Yeah as much as I would love to see Manchin switch Republican just to pull what dems did in the senate during Bush's second term by getting a Republican Senator to switch parties and getting the senate because of it. As a dem he has alot of power within the senate as the deciding vote. Although I wouldn't be shocked if he did considering how red West Virginia is
