I know the broad answer,:dumb: and :autism:, already; but what makes him think this isn't going to end in tears? He already has people like Jim who nominally were on his side going against him. They're a bunch of shitposters and dropouts pretending to be philosophers. They don't have the capacity for self-reflection you need to make that work.

This all just seems very cult-like. As long as people keep laughing, they’ll tear themselves apart. Sargon can’t handle being laughed at, as shown by his reaction to Metokur who made a couple tweets about how silly this looks to most people.

For the same reason he was made fun of in the stream; he seriously thinks he wields that amount of influence.

Sargon wasn't necessarily one for being known to have a good deal of self-awareness, or even awareness to the people around him. It doesn't occur to him he might not be able to influence the world around him. I'd actually bet money he secretly thinks Jim is jealous of him putting himself on what he perceives to be the cusp of the mainstream and has been emboldened by his reaction to it.
