Which begs to question - what evidence is he going to supply that the merge happened if the rest of us don't notice it and ask for proof it happened? Will he think people are just lying to troll him?
It's because someone is telling him this shit and he's trying to remember what they said to the best of his autistic ability. There's no way Chris has any understanding of the issue of overpopulation, but the percentages of OC and survivors he's relaying from Magi-Chan directly address that. This is one of his more unnerving mannerisms and one that he's only picked up fairly recently.
I can't tell if the 51% surviving, 41% dying, 8% "Margin of Error" is Chris' mistakes or Magi-Chan. But, I think the implication is the low end of surviving non-characters from either the other dimension's Earth or our Earth is 51%, and the high end from either is 59%. I think it means a low end post-merge population of 12.72 billion, a high end of 13.96 billion, and Chris' "likely and best outcome" of 13.34 billion. Those gears sure are turning though, if not in any way we can comprehend.
I don't know what is worse, the fact that he pulled these numbers from his ass and its incomprehensible or that he wrote all that shit on a napkin.
He already talks to his cartoon waifu or what not. I think he already sees this shit. After all of this do you think that Chris will start hallucinating cartoon characters kind of like the ending of The Bluest Eye?
The most work Chris has done in his entire life, right there, on a shitty napkin and still useless. Maybe not the most, I guess the hardest. It required math.
Haha, classic Chris. Trying to explain stuff but only making it more confusing.
Assuming he means 11.25% of the human population? In that case the best case population is 10.28 billion. That's still 2.5 billion more than our current population and would be catastrophic, but at least within lazy guesses of Earth's carrying capacity. 11.25% plus 38.75% is 50% so I guess he pulled that from there? But that's below the minimum survival implied by the napkin (and my understanding of Chris' understanding of margin of error). The napkin is just repeating the 59%, 51% thing from yesterday, without clarifying anything.
He doesn't, he really tries to, though.I think he already sees this shit.
Chris isn't that crazy. This is all just coping mechanizing. It's easier for him to think all his favorite looney tunes are gonna come over and worship him than to think about the very dark future ahead of him. After all of this do you think that Chris will start hallucinating cartoon characters kind of like the ending of The Bluest Eye?
Also the McDonald's napkin is a nice touch.
