Yes that was a while ago. Still surprises me just how soft Nick went with Ralph there and why Nick always seem to forget his, otherwise so staunchly professed, expectations to morals and standards when it comes to Ralph. Hell he's done so several times already since that tweet exchange.

I think it has a lot to do with the Dax connection.

If Dax cut the Gunt loose, Rekieta would likely follow suit shortly after.

Nick generally doesn't go after people for thier moral failings unless they're either annoying to him or he has general disdain for their existance (all of law twitter). As far as I can tell, previously getting along with him in the past goes a long way with Nick.

But I like Nick, he frequently brings new whiskies to my attention to try so I'm biased.

Do they even interact that much? I don't watch ralph because he is so fucking boring, but Rekieta barely seems to even talk about ralph. He usually just takes the position of disinterest it seemed.

Have to disagree with you because Ralph doesn’t have a kid.
If Mrs. Rekeita wanted to take the kids and run tomorrow, Nick would be able to legally pursue getting his children back. Ralph isn’t even listed on the birth certificate.
The only claim Ralph has to Xander is that he fucked his mom. He’s just as much of a father as all those kids who raped Faith on the school bus.

I always figured that it was because Nick doesn't want to deal with a massive gunted tantrum. Every now and then he'll do something like have PPP on or make a pretty mild comment like, "That's a dumb thing Ralph did." but he seems to keep it just light enough where Ralph only seethes for a day and Rackets just stops talking after that. It's just not worth saying he doesn't want to deal with Ralph, much easier to just not talk to him and let Ralph think they're still pals. He quietly keeps his distance though, that much is obvious.

Thats the impression I'm getting from his willful ignorance to the gunts seemingly endless fuckwittery. If it was the heyday of IBS when Ralph could potentially bring in good numbers and superchats he'd probably be more inclined to poke the gunt more and call out his flagging and various gayop shenanigans. Now its just not worth pissing off the thin-skinned moron just to end up with 30 sperg constantly spamming "Walph won. . .can't abort the pigsnort. . .1488" in his chat while he's getting shitfaced laughing at weebs. Plus this way he doesn't have any reason to engage with Gaytor. And who could possibly hold not wanting to listen to Shannon against him? Even Ralph can barely bring himself to give him a courtesy chuckle at his supernova hot takes during the daily Tucker dicksucking.
