This. My grandfather has struggled to gain weight for years, eating fatty foods, sweets, red meat, bbq, mexican food, fast food you name it. He just can't keep it on despite the fact that he's in relatively great health for a dude of 80+ years.

At first I interpreted it as "we had more money to buy fast food" that contributed to how overweight they both were. As far as I can remember, the Chandlers hadn't cooked actual meals in years and subsisted on a diet entirely composed of TV dinners and fast food. I'm guessing the meal replacement shakes were intended to deal with her inability to deal with their normal diet anymore. Chris obviously has gained quite a bit of weight since Bob's passing, so I wouldn't think it's the inability to buy food.

BTW, @Merryweatherey you said you had to redo the podcast after the first because it was boring and you didn't use correct pronouns. Care to elaborate on this? It seems like this one was really well put together and flowed quite nicely. Almost no dead air and avoided the notorious tendency of Chris to ramble senselessly for ages. What made the previous interview so boring, and do you think doing a second interview contributed to how smoothly it went?

The previous interview was recorded a month ago within the first few days of meeting Chris. I don't think he trusted me much, and his reasons for accepting the interview had a lot to do with me being friends with Doopie, and being followed by a lot of artists he likes. The problem with the first interview is that Chris was exactly as a lot of people feared he would be. He was a bit anxious, defensive, had a tendency to ramble off for 10 minutes at a time. There was a lot of dead air, audio issues on Chris end, and just overall a very low quality interview. The few interesting moments lasted only about 30 seconds, and Chris didn't trust me enough to let me ask him about sensitive issues.

At the time of recording I hadn't been on the Kiwifarms in a long time, so I wasn't aware of the previous interviewers, and people generally being tired of content creators interviewing Chris and just asking the same basic questions that everyone have heard the answers to a million times. Me being in the middle of dealing with the Chris King thing didn't help.

After a month of getting to know Chris and voice chatting every few days, he seemed far more open to chatting normally, and joking around casually, so when we ended up recording the current version it ended up far better. It's all thanks to Kiwifarms that we ended up making this better version. If it hadn't been for you guys, I would have just released the old version and went on to the next person.

The Un-Clit seems like the kind of thing Chris would hmmm about and not answer.
"Yeah, it was a befo-a pret-very long time ago and I have Grown and Matured a lot as a Woman Inside And Out since then."
did they at least mention it in the interview?

i mean realistically its more notable than getting fucked around by yet another troll pretending to be a girl

:agree: but large swaths of the interview are predicated on the notions that 1. Jessica is Sweetheart 2. Christine is a woman and that's a thing that is real.

Thank you for going against the Stone Cutters and going through with it!

See? We DO have new information about the Magical Man.

I didn't read all this thread but I listened and the questions were good. Was the interviewer from Sweden?
I'm recently convinced that Chris loves troll attention and he's messing with us as much as we are messing with him. I love bad movies and bad fanfiction so Sonichu is pretty much right up my alley so I can say I'm a true & honest fan :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic: I know. Give me the dumb ratings it was a good interview. Listening to Chris speak is usually difficult to stand but he was practically charming in this. It was cute.

Was the interviewer from Sweden?
Close! I'm from Denmark.

I've uploaded the full size wallpapers here: https://sta.sh/2c5r7c5z6bo

Hope you enjoy. Added one with just Chris and Sonichu.

The interview went surprisingly better than I expected, and you did really well leading Chris through that. I really liked the respectful yet firm tone you took with him, because he shocked me with his self awareness in some of the interview. I really feel like he knows his life is about to take a tumble from a high cliff and he's just preparing to rant about the unfairness of it all when he becomes homeless. I don't think you would have gotten this much out of him any other way.

I'm only about 20 or 25 minutes in but, so far, it's been a very well-done interview. It was respectful to Chris but also didn't pull punches.

Thank you for sharing it with us prior to publication.
I finally had a chance to finish the interview and I'll stick to what I said before -- that was a really damn good interview, @Merryweatherey . You were respectful to Chris without trying to kiss his ass and you also pushed him when he needed to be pushed without being condescending about it. About the only mis-step you made was the "Marry, Kill, Fuck" game and the biggest problem with that was that CWC simply doesn't know most pop culture or current events unless they are related to his cartoons or video games.

And as for CWC? Dare I say, he was almost charming at times. He seemed comfortable and was able to joke around and even came close to owning up to some of the mistakes he has made. On the downside, knowing what we all know now, it was definitely a bit cringey to hear Chris make numerous references to his sweetheart. (:_(

Overall, that was a very well done interview. Good job!

I agree, although one nitpick I had was when he said something like "... oh but if this question is too sensitive, feel free to ignore it..."

Don't do that when interviewing Chris. It isn't necessary.
