I wish we had a court reporter there to see how Clever Barb tries to argue herself out of this.

No records updated yet. See below

In these kind of cases, judges, usually with full daily calendars, often recess cases to let the parties try to work something out in the hallway while they deal with the next case. Meanwhile a plaintiff may be suing multiple people on the same court date for efficiency. What this means is that you may not get an update for hours, maybe not even until 5:00 pm.

I'd be extremely surprised if anything exceptional (petition for bankruptcy or declaration of insolvency, home repossession) occurs from this.
It costs money and time for creditors to take court action. She must owe an awful lot - however it's highly unlikely they will continue to ask for money if she has no tangible assets or cash in hand to take possession actions on.
I'm aware I've done a couple of tldr thread posts on this site but on this occasion I actually have reasonable experience as I work in the debt industry. (P-P-P-Powerlevel!)
We all know they have no assets. The property, a shithole, is in negative equity, and possession and sale of the vehicles and personal plates would be more trouble than its worth.
Both are vulnerable, legally speaking, and I can't imagine Capital One collections being able by federal or state law to enforce possession or payment orders on an autistic pants crapping crossdresser and his geriatric haggard death's door mother.
They WILL be able to put the equivalent of a CCJ on her record however, preventing her from taking any additional credit out. They might write the debt off if the Chandler's genuinely have no spare money but they may also be able to take cash directly from Snorlax's tugboat if they can reasonably prove that they can maintain themselves on a budget, with token payments on a monthly basis to evidence futile repayment - depending on if the law permits this.

Basically she'll get a permanent flag on her credit record far, far too late into her life when it'll mean next to nothing. This will only affect Chris and Barb as much as they will be entirely reliant on their tugboats with no ability to use credit for the foreseeable future, if the courts declare them insolvent.

So we can all look forward to more and more desperate begging videos and Chris deteriorating mentally even more as he realises his access to lego and Pokemon has become limited yet again.

Slap on the wrist and pat on the ass.

The norm for vile, disgusting mounds of human refuse.
This is true. Which is why interest rates for debt are so insane. Because the banks that loan out money get fucked over by deadbeats, and need to recoup the losses somewhere.

So realistically, what is the worst possible outcome of this for Barb and Chris? Would they be forced to sell their home?

Well, it's not "their" home anymore. It's got a mortgage taken out on it.

So, Probably, but further down the line. It depends how much they owe. If you're a bank looking to collect, that's about all they have that has value. Barb isn't going to make much if forced to work and would probably use every excuse in the book to avoid working on the taxpayer's dime.

Even if the house is utterly fucked up with the horde wouldn't you think that someone would buy it for a low price like 1k at a forced sale? Or would the bank refrain from selling it as long as it doesn't get a halfway decent amount of money for it?
Even if a buyer would have to invest money again to demolish everything and buiild a waistheigh wall, so that Chris cannot come in anymore, I'd still think someone would buy that place.

I often read that Chris would probably end up in a group home for autistic people, but I think that he might be against it. Because the others are slow in the mind and don't appreciate his TRUE and HONEST female lesbian soul. (Or he gets kicked out by being gross as fuck. It is just a question if he creeps out with his touchyness towards women he knows, his misandry or his hygiene first.) Are there any helps for people like him to set up a home completely on his own or is part of his tugboat already intended for rent?

Have any Field agents uploaded anything yet.

I doubt anyone went. Barb didn't bother showing up last time this happened, it's unlikely that she would this time. The only report we're going to get on this is when the court's records update.

I'm looking at Virginia court case records, and I'm not finding this case anywhere.
When I search under Albemarle regional, I find a Trespassing case from Chris in 2006.
For Charlottesville, I find Chris and Barb's cases from the Game Place incident in 2011/2012.
When I search Civil cases (I presume this is a civil case), I can't seem to find anything...
Richmond civil cases doesn't turn up anything either, neither does Harrisonburg
What am I doing wrong?
