It's not impossible, but in one video he actually said (in one of what must now be dozens of vids in which he talks about Evo) that he never played ST all that much. I think he said he also played Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in those but the scene at that time was disturbingly good. He wouldn't have stood a chance. So I'm skeptical about his ability to win in either game.
 
He is watching random gameplay videos that have nothing interesting in them and skipping them forward after a couple of minutes to find if there is anything funny in them ,this is painfully boring,I have been watching this for about 30 minutes and I want to die. All the videos he has showed are videos of him complaining like a manchild,how is this funny?

I stopped watching, but a question just popped into my head.

In any of these four Retrospectives, has DSP ever made a video choice of his own? Eliciting forum and char requests is great, but has DSP at any point in these streams gone "hey I think this video I did might be interesting, let's rewatch that?"

I mean, I know he doesn't do any planning or preparation for these events, but I don't remember him ever coming up with videos on his own either.
 
How effortless would it be to simply do a "TIHYDP" marathon. . .you know cutting out the bullshit and seeing himself distilled down to his most pure. It would require him to actually have a sense of humor about himself so it's obviously a non-starter, but the hilarity is already there. Hell there are some TIHYDP's that are actually just him, and so he couldn't even claim the whole "people are being mean and nasty. . ."

. . .instead you get a snoozefest of him just watching old videos in a filthy t-shirt.

He said during the prestream that all TIHYDP videos are slanderous because they take things out of context and make him look bad. It's one of the reasons he claims that his Youtube channel is doing as poorly as it is; people watch the TIHYDP videos making him look bad cause them to not watch his own channel.
 
He is watching a video of dinasty warriors 7 (with asians characters) and he started saying "CHIKI CHANG CHIKI CHING" and *random chinese racism* and instead of cringing he started laughing. But remember,he has changed and doesnt find that funny anymore.Thanks to detractor beam for the video:

















EDIT: He is saying he invented the word playthrough now.

How hard would it be to make a fucking 'best of' montage and watch that? Every other streamer can manage. But only phil has 200 parts per game of randomly diced up live stream.

And TIHYDP is too "slanderous" for him. Even if watching shit from 2011 should be old enough to have a chuckle. Especially of games he's done "redemption" runs of.

Hell, if I was in his place, I'd surprise the audience with a full viewing of TIHYDP MGS3 and then announce a redemption run! "Haha, man I used to suck. But I'm gonna go back and give this game my all this time."

He'd make bank, the coward.
 
These retro streams DSP does where he watches his old shit are utter cringe. He seems so proud when he's watching himself, it's cringe that causes pain. The look he has on his face is so weird, he seems as proud as some guy who's kid just made his first steps. He's so proud of himself playing games and begging for 10 years, yikes.
