Put it this way: if Chris was a Catholic, trolls would pretend to be a priest and get him to confess his sins and then upload them to the internet.

Is there a supply of trolls with untapped resources willing to go to Ruckersville for long periods of time for sting operations? Is there really such an autistic Illuminati out there? Because it sounds like just more excuses that Chris would use to justify avoiding the one best option to tamp down (not eliminate) the trolling.

Because if he went offline again, he wouldn't get to sperg out like all the other cows on twitter and pretend to be a celebrity with videos.

I know that the locks on my house won't keep out a dedicated crew of heisters. But they might keep out the methhead down the street that wants some cash for his next fix- or convince him to try and find an easier house, and most of the time he's the threat. The Idea Guys sound like the kind of 'burglar' that works on knob-turning. They're not gonna go to his house and pretend to be Sonichu or whatever in person... that shit's hard, expensive, potentially perilous and definitely time-consuming for what would probably be no payoff (at the time). But sending a few messages or videos? Takes minutes. Can try a few approaches, see if something works a little. Then multiply that by however many others have tried the same thing and failed that wouldn't bother without some access. And the teen troon squad (or whatever) sounds like the fucking maid that steals a twenty every couple of weeks because it won't be noticed WE FUCKING KNOW IT'S YOU MARIA. But you can't win everything, and it sounds like things would be better if Idea Guy(s) have never gotten involved at least.

His patreon isn't bringing in much income anymore. And has he been selling all that much stuff on ebay recently? (I don't know, I haven't been keeping track.)
His ebay is doing a bit better than the Patreon, but it's still just a few hundred per month in sales at this point.

He hasn't shilled for his ebay since Nov 11th, but his sales picked up steam a bit over the holidays. I guess it's a temporary boost from people wanting to buy gag gifts for Christmas.

Going offline doesn't fix anything. They go to his house offline and pretend to be his friends.

I think the only way for Chris to get away from the trolls is to return to his roots in backroots Africa.
Ghana apparently made a new law to attract black people to go back to Africa.
Right of Abode

Right of abode is granted in the following cases:

(a) A Ghanaian by birth, adoption, registration or naturalization within the meaning of the Citizenship Act who by reason of his acquisition of a foreign nationality has lost his Ghanaian citizenship

(b) A person of African descent in the diaspora.

apparently Chris is black
and he got the DNA papers to prove it. Certainly, no dumbass trolls will go to Africa to troll Chris.

There’s that interest award tacked onto the whole thing. It adds about $160 a year to the judgement. Even if he has a payment plan set up up he’s going to be spinning his wheels somewhat because interest is still accumulating on the amount awarded.

He only owes 2,800?
That’s nothing. He could pay that off in less than a year with just large percentage of his tugboat dedicated to it. I was expecting like at least 10,000 if not more.
He could've paid that off with just what he spent going to bronycon, but hey, Chris and priorities.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the details are convoluted, but this one case is nowhere near a consolidation of his total debt. He's taken out car loans, payday loans, multiple store credit cards, fingerhut credit and according to the CWCki SEVEN credit cards that he kept perpetually near maxed. I get the feeling this $2,700 is just attempting to settle ONE card debt.

Stress sigh indeed.

He's got about $5k in credit card debt. (Probably includes this current lawsuit.) Probably about that much on the car loan. He didn't go too heavy on the payday loans. Knowing Chris, he probably took whatever the default number they offered him, and didn't trim it to his bare needs. I don't know how much those places usually offer.

No clue on the fingerhut situation.

So he's probably got between $10k and $15k total, or maybe more if fingerhut is a serious dumpster fire.

Chris is kinda similar to those people who win the state lottery and 5 years later end up broke and living in a trailer park living on foodstamps. Or NFL players who end up in debt despite earning millions throughout their careers. Except Chris isn't a lottery winner, or a professional football player. The point is some people are just perpetually broke because they never learned how to handle their money properly.

There are people out there who make 6 figures and still end up living paycheck to paycheck, and on the opposite end, people who may not make a lot but due to hard work, savings and investments are still well off and retire millionaires.

It's funny but I think the Chandlers were actually doing not too bad for themselves years ago. Bob seemed like the type of guy who knew how to handle his money properly and was the one who probably ran the household finances. Hell, he even intervened for Chris when he ended up overdrawing his credit cards years ago. Couple that with his savings, a generous pension that he left Borb and the monthly tugboat for Chris, that should have been more then enough for an elderly widow and her autist son to live on in Bumfuck, Virginia. Even the house was supposedly paid off I think.

But of course after the big Lumberjack passed, shit just hit the fan immediately. The Snyder thing, Borbs hoarding, and Chris blowing everything on cheap plastic toys ruined the Chandler finances for good and they won't be able to recover at this point.

Once Borb passes, Chris will be lucky enough to have a cheap studio apt. somewhere cause there's no way in hell he's gonna be able to keep the house. Though even an apartment is kind optimistic with his spending habits imo. Either way things are gonna get interesting once Borb dies.

The only thing I can see Chris doing to salvage his future would require him basically admitting "yeah, I'm a slow in da mind and I need some help.". Given where his heads at now? I don't see that possible. It's one thing to have an ego, but Chris thinks he's a fucking deity.

This could lead to him being basically put into actual treatment. When he fails to pay this and they end up being told the merge needs to occur and he'll pay etc etc...

I mean he either tells them the crazy merge shit or he needs help mentally etc. Which he'd still need to pay off the fines, but the court wouldn't be leaning so heavy on him, he'd likely get into a program where some one helps him budget etc.<Can the court order that for a slow in the minds?>

Third option is Chris does nothing, ends up arrested. Which given Chris' mental state and him discussing he can now shit lightning etc ..what if he just decides as a CPU Goddess pikachu pony thing, he attacks the Jerkops? Not a good outcome.

Whoa whoa wait.

Suddenly Chris admits that he's black when way back then he's express resentment for them back in time on his boyfriend-free-girl Love Quest?

...What has this pig's mind come to?

Well, I can see him not paying back on what he has to pay. This in turn leads to like a cop being sent to serve papers and Chris ends up tarding out and ended up tazzed or some shit.

There's probably plenty of ways a cop could be sent to the Chandler dumping ground.

Cops have been there plenty (for bullshit reasons and not) which is why I don't think there's reason to believe anything interesting will happen. He's been sued multiple times before. Someone shows up, hands him papers, maybe has him sign something, then I guess he goes back in and plays vidya until the next court date.

Only way I see him getting arrested is if he he fails to appear when summonsed but, surprisingly, he seems to actually go to court- presumably with many a stress sigh.
