[10/27/16] Phil Thinks He is a Walking Dead - He Surely Smells Like One

Honestly I think this feeling is one of shame now that Phil has lied his way into housing and he's taking stock of the price he's paid by his choices to get to this 'cushy' spot he's all set up in currently.

Now Phil thought he had long ago killed off his sense of shame to even start the first steps of this journey but apparently it's not so easily buried and forgotten, sucks to be him. As usual.

Phil has no concept of shame or at least same as we know it, he has't got the presence of mind or a real self image that he has brought embarrassment or dishonour to so he doesn't feel it the same way we do.

He's also not capable of another fundamental aspect of shame, introspection Phil at his core doesn't like the realities of his life that's why he engages in lie's and wish fulfillment fantasies so often in a primitive way of avoiding the crushing realities that define his day to day existence. Deep down he's aware he's not right but he's not right in a way he tries to avoid acknowledging because that would shake his reality to the core all he has is the image he's defined for himself and he use that as a framework to understand the world and his place in it exercising about the only method of control he has in the form of his fantasies.

So we're going to assume that Phil never changes is what you're saying? Honestly he's not as stupid as OPL so I expect him to be able to at least attempt and fail at change while eventually perhaps having a breakthrough which is like finding a golden ticket in a chocolate-cheese bar from Wonka for him. I also think this is as close to a prison cell as Phil's been in for a while so he's gotten nothing but time to think and that idle mind is bringing up things he thought he had squashed dead all the way on the other coast of the country but I could certainly be wrong. Could be mail delivery derived stress getting him down, if that's the case, attaboy kiwis!

Prity much he's incapable of any real meaningful change, in terms of IQ Chris is about 80 and Phil is about 83 at that level a few points can seem to make all the differnce, what he has got over Chris is that just that few points in intelligence and not as much other stuff genuinely wrong with him that why people can mistake him for slightly higher in abillity, in reality he's about the same.

Phil lives in a perminant state of frustration, he's just able enough to be able to catch glimpses of what the real world is like but genuine understanding is just out of his grasp, and that's just day to day stuff like social interactions, etc. When it comes to loftier idea's he latches onto them because he wants to prove that he's better than he really is but isn't able to undersant that he's just too thick to grasp any understanding.

Nha he's a prity solitary animal for the most part, he spends his days alone for the most part as I said above social interactions are a massive source of frustration to him.

Oh boy.....

... no spoilers but plans are afoot.

I think if he had any sense of shame or introspection, we'd have seen it when the "social embargo" started. For a person with self-awareness and the ability to look at themselves objectively, being abandoned by their friends would be a sign that they're doing something wrong. In Phil's case, he's decided that it's the fault of everyone else, that they've turned on him for no reason.

The first sentence in his second paragraph tells us all we need to know about his motivations here. He just simply wants some of his online friends to give him some attention but obviously he can't get that unless he has some vague threats about suicide thrown in there.

Saying that, the fact that he is well aware that he has to tease having suicidal thoughts to even earn any online companionship must be depressing in itself, so there's probably an element of legitimacy when he talks about how down he always feels.

Literally the only reason even some other troon would talk to him is if they're worried that he'd kill himself and then they'd feel guilty because they ignored his bullshit whining.

I wouldn't mind if he did. We wouldn't have to deal with this bullshit subforum any more.

Negan splattered Glenn like a potato.

Except people actually loved and cared about Glenn, and he's a fictional character. No one gives a single fuck about Phil.

It's not Halloween yet Phil!

Anyway, it's like...the third time he screamed he was gonna killed himself? I would thought people would get fed up about this.

Third time? Maybe this week. Phil makes death threats like meter maids give out parking tickets in New York. It's one of his major go-to methods when he's not getting the attention and asspats he feels he deserves.

That sounds quite familiar
CWC also said he felt like a zombie.

Maybe feeling zombie-like is common to all lolcows?

the crushing realities that define his day to day existence
I've said it before, but that's why I think Phil is always squeaking angry -- he can't truly live the dream of being a bike-riding latinx goddess in a perpetual cheese coma.
