The evidence seems to show that none of Chris's classmates even care about having a reunion, so I have no idea why he thinks any such event is still going to happen.

To which his classmates responded "DILLIGAF." I'm actually quite surprised that he's still gung-ho about a reunion, given recent revelations. These attempts at guilt-tripping people are getting more and more pathetic than they used to be. Something new to add to the CWC drinking game, I guess.

It has to happen because his guilt trip revenge fantasy depends on it. So Chris once again wishes something into reality, which will end up never happening. They've already beaten him to the punch with the ignoring. He's going to have to remind them every week or two that he's ignoring them for the HURTFULLNESS they've made him endure.

IF this reunion happened (say for a 15 year reunion), Chris would go, even after finding out his friends weren't his friends, because he obviously planned the whole thing and it should be about him. He should get to dance with the ladies and maybe even find that sweetheart that he was too naive to find in HighSchool. This is his plan. He has no other reason for the reunion; he has no friends that are looking forward to seeing him again (the whole point of a reunion). I just don't get what he's thinking when he KNOWS this, he KNOWS that none of his "friends" will be there for him... so what's his plan? To sit in a corner and just play his 3DS all night and hope someone is kind enough to say hello?

Chris' high school reunion will be just him, maybe Barb, sitting at MacDoodles playing portable vidya, checking Facebook on his iPhone furiously and sobbing into his McNuggets meal. Possibly wearing an old prom dress and tiara he got at Goodwill.

He is telling people who haven't spoken to him in more than a decade to consider him dead. This isn't merely an attempt at pity, but a demand for it, with the added torpedo of saying he'll come to the reunion and look sad.
He expects people who don't care about him to hang around him when he's moping.
He expects people to come see him be sad.
But then, does he really expect this? Somehow I doubt it. The very bedrock of Chris's overwhelming depression here is [conjecture time] that he's finally, finally, FINALLY realizing that the world doesn't care about him. Without the false convictions of his high school relationships to carry him through his darkest days, he's now relying on the only thing he knows how to do: making demands that he is in no position to make.
The very idea that people would come to the reunion to begin with is a long shot - Chris didn't know anything about how the 10-year went until recently. Like Tubes and Male said, he's invented yet another fantasy that is entirely dependent on other parties making it happen for him, and, as ever, these are parties that show absolutely no interest whatsoever in Chris or his welfare. Trying to demand pity out of those who don't care about him is every bit as practical as trying to start a fire by staring really hard at the kindling.
I'm curious about the whole "Second Reminder" message heading.
