Chris thinks he's moving back in. I knew. I just... I wonder if Barb understands. Chris, of course not, but Barb?
barbs probably the one telling him that they're gonna "go home soon "
Didn't George say something similar near the end ofTo Kill A MockingbirdOf Mice and Men?
tell me about the electric hedgehog pokemon, chris.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
Two tards that are stupid will dither,
And State Farm's patience exhaust.
You are coolI'm just waiting for the remainder of the hoard to merge with the surrounding flora, thus giving birth to a real life Swamp Thing.
You are cool and just to derail the thread for a second, Bernie Wrightson was admitted to the hospital on Monday after suffering a series of small strokes. They acted immediately and got him to the ER and his treatment went really well. He is alert and recognizes people and is joking with his nurses, so good news there. So if you have a second think a kind thought for Bernie, he and Len Wein both are dealing with some serious health issues right now. And again, sorry for the threadjack, but the Swamp Thing reference was a nice segue. You guys can move this to the OT board if you need to.I'm just waiting for the remainder of the hoard to merge with the surrounding flora, thus giving birth to a real life Swamp Thing.

I have the very good fortune to know both Len and Bernie as long time friends, there are many, many laughs along the way, and Len is managing his health very well these days. Early news on Bernie is good, but there may be some surgery in the future, but the fact that he was so responsive yesterday was an excellent sign for a full recovery. Len, Bernie and their wives are such lovely and special people in my life. I won $400 on an Iron Man video slot in Vegas when we were there for comic con and so I took Len and his peeps out for dinner and let Tony Stark pay for it -- he said he loved that best of all. He's a darling. I've met John Totleben but don't know him very well, but his work is amazing, and he works really well with Alan Moore who I was once very drunk with in San Diego. I'll PM you with any updates on Bernie, if you'd like.God bless Mr. Wrighton and Mr. Wein. Wrighton and John Totleben are some of my absolute favorite comic book artists. I hope they'll get to grace this world with their being a bit longer. Thank you for the post.
So someone catch me up; Chris thinks the house is going to be rebuilt and is in fact banking on it? In other words, it was basically promised?
Never underestimate the ability of old white trash to keep going. The mean old lady is a trope for a reason.Thx for your effort skyrider, we love you.
Barb's mental and physical health are really really bad.
Maybe she only wants to die in her old house with her
garbage. I would be very surprised if she survives the
next winter.
Ah, one last summer for Fatty to fritter away playing legos and pooping himself. But alas, nothing gold can stay...They have until the end of the summer.
