Haven't we seen enough of these? But it is strange how it has been nearly 6 months and virtually no work has been done to it. Will the Chandler's ever move back in??? Crazy Crazy!
Is it possible that Chris might eventually permanently leave 14BC? The home he's living in now is easier to keep clean and all that, and 14BC is far from being clean. I'm not sure if the insurance company will allow him to stay there though.
I hesitated before writing this before, but that place is gone. There are no shots of the roof this time but it was already beginning to bow back in (March? April?), which was only the first manifestation of how badly the structure was damaged.
We were arguably at the point where the cost to repair would exceed the cost to demolish and rebuild then, but we are definitely beyond it now. The place is a Chernobyl of hazards. I mean, right now you and I are probably inhaling mold. It's everywhere there's moisture. To lock down a house full of water (not to mention garbage) for 6 months is basically setting up a large-scale petri dish for it. You could airlift an Olympic swimming pool full of bleach overheard and drop it from a helicopter and it wouldn't kill everything, some of which is certainly toxic. This is to say nothing of the vermin, the colonies of insects growing in the yard, etc.
This would be a problem in any house with windows boarded up for 6 months, but 14 BC had a huge head start.
