Correct me if I am under a misapprehension, but Dave has TWO completely separate internet lines in his townhouse, yes? Why would his streaming via his Business Class internet in any way affect Kat's ability to stream over the household TV internet line? She could take her brand new PS4 Pro downstairs and stream from the living room at the exact same time he was up in his 'office' working. Dave doesn't need TWO internet lines to stream and MILLIONS of folks stream from regular old household internet services everyday. Personally, I think he's afraid that Kat would siphon viewers off his stream and/or become a bigger streamer than he is.

According to my understanding of the travails of DSP Lore up to the present, I believe that:

Yes, he does have two internet lines.

Yes, claiming that one puts unbearable stress on the other is a trying argument to make.

And no, DSP doesn't want Kat to stream because it would mean re-socializing herself in an environment that would loosen his control over her. Aside from just "getting woke" by friendly interaction with Outsiders, her streaming would expose her to those malevolent Detractors, who would use her mine for information about him.

How many IRL streams with kat it takes to become old? I mean... first time it was special, but he cant do this every month.

She's obviously not enjoying doing these IRL streams and definitely doesn't want to be there. Phil probably forces her to do these with him because their previous stream was quite a success for him and his business and he smells the easy money. Leave it to Phil to whore out his girlfriend like this without even trying to make her feel comfortable while doing it. But remember guys, some things are more important than money. Real talk.

The beginning of the stream where someone sent a cheer that said "Kat, please read this joke" and she leaned in, read it, then goes "Okay that's funny" and Phil had to tell her "no, you gotta read it out loud for our audience." I lol'd pretty hard. He also pretty much railroaded the question about having kids. "You know, we have talked about this, and I know it's personal, but we're on the same page, so I'm going to go ahead and tell you, unless you don't want me to? But it's no big deal, right? So I can tell them, right?" And tied his answer of not wanting to have kids back into... not enough money.

Thank God.

Maybe I'm reading to much into her facial expressions, but during Phil's explanation how they BOTH don't want any kids she looked more like: "Actually I do wanna have a baby but he said No so I go with No". She's sadly not the person who is brave enough to have her own opinion from all I understand.

Agreed. Her body language was harsh at this point. You could tell she was super uncomfortable. But at this point we should all know that when Phil says “we” he really means “me”.

Getting a cat would be too much given his current financial situation. Having kids? WAY too much. Flying an adult human across a continent? That's fine.
Actually I do understand the factor money in this specific order.
Sending someone across the country: One time investment. Kat pays for herself, maybe she even pays the additional electricity- and water consumption.

Having a cat (not a Kat): Investment for around 10 years with mildly high costs. The most expenses come from the occasional animal doctor and permanent expenses like food and kitty litter, I would assume.

Having a real human baby? Oh shit, if it turns out like the amalgamation in between Phil and Kat they need to support their adult manbaby, which can't support itself, until 40. That can't be good.

Kat's bored on stream because she isn't a real gaymer and doesn't want anything to do with a gayming stream.

She just wants to come home from her job and play a little overwatch before crashing on Phils couch.

Kat gives off some pretty solid emotional and/or physical abuse vibes.

You can tell there was something in her past that triggers a 'dont have the wrong opinion' flag by how aggressively un-opinionated she is. When possible she'd skip giving an opinion at all, which is usually the safest bet when you're about to get your shit smacked any time you piss someine off. When that wasnt possible, she'd immediately fish for Phil's opinion first and then agree or give a 'yeah'.

The only coherent answer she gave was about her dealing with sadness, and her response was to basically shut it out as much as possible and hope it goes away.

It makes sense to me now why she'd jump ship halfway across the country leaving everything behind to a guy she met twice, at least.

Edit: I feel like I need to mention I don't believe that Phil is abusive towards Kat or anything. Her reactions are learned response she probably developed over years and don't have anything to do with how he treats her. He was making attempts to be understanding during the stream, he's just a bumbling idiot and oblivious.
I mean he’s definitely abusing her emotionally, or will in time. He clearly had no interest when she talked for more that 3 words, we all know dave is a garbage human.

In Tevin's video of him watching the IRL stream he had a good one. Someone wanted Kat to show off her dress. She looked down at it, frowned, shrugged, and said something like "This? Eh it's just a dress." Without missing a beat Tevin said, "Yeah, just something from Pandalee's closet." Heh.

@SoapQueen1

after watching dsp last night it clicked to me what happened. I think someone typed in all caps about the uber driver thing. and the bot deleted it after about 5 seconds. last night someone typed a long sentence in caps and it erased it right away. So it could be the case but I dont remember seeing it in all caps is the thing. But could for sure be the case. Although the mods were in super bitch mode the whole night deleting shit left and right so wouldnt put it past the mods to see it and take it off

That said her being one could be very plausible. The drivers license, and with how slow she seems it could for sure be a job she could do. Also because if you are part of uber when you are moving states there is certain shit you have to fill out that is kind of like a transfer.
