2018-07-20 Curse Drops DSPGaming - It just doesn't make (Ad)Sense...

How long will it take for this to get fixed with no work from DSP?

Curious to see how things will pan out. Personally I think he’ll go all-in on streaming now. It’s not like he was doing much on YouTube anyways other than using it to host past streams I think. I wonder I that’s why Curse dropped him; he wasn’t doing anything to promote the brand actively.

lmao, even when he’s talking to the customer service bot, he throws in an “I’m gonna be honest with you” and a few “there you go”s. Keeps saying this was an “amicable break” with Curse, going so far as to say he “left” his MCN today, instead of admitting they kicked his scummy ass to the curb.

Some pitiful cuck tips him $100 and literally pledges allegiance to Phil.

He then admits to customer service that he made a dummy account, even though his chat is screaming at him not to say that as it’s against the rules. He pauses, then exclaims “This is YouTube’s fault!” and proceeds to tell this to the bot, saying it was YT’s change in policy that made him create the dummy account.

Complete and utter shitshow.

I thought he got blacklisted from using personal AdSense accounts because of that incident a couple of years back where he asked his viewers to click on the ads. How did he get around that block?
Details are murky. The original ban for click fraud happened for offenses across 2009 and 2010. He claims that changes to Adsense ToS in 2012 meant he was allowed back into the program. We have no choice but to believe him... but why was he randomly trying to make a new AdSense account in 2012? Nobody knows.

That information aside, we were of the understanding that he joined Machinima (2011) to make money while bypassing Google's eye, then was unlucky enough to try to jump ship to a new MCN while new rules were being put into effect (2017) that brought all moneymaking on YouTube under Google's supervision.

"I am losing revenue."

Why the fuck should they care? That's his problem.

We have no choice but to believe him...

Lol no.

More like we have no reason to believe him.

Bizarre mental gymnastics going on right now even for Phil. He's literally explaining how he broke the rules by making scam accounts, but this isn't his fault somehow.

Don't you see, they forced him to do it by shutting down his scam. How was he supposed to scam money and swindle people without that account? He had no choice!
