Given what we've seen Russia isn't no 2 on earth. Winnie the Pooh probably commands the no 2 military power by some distance. Not sure New Zealand is real country. It seems to be a place where sheep are rogered, like Wales, and it was ruled by a horse. It probably doesn't exist.

Also given that Putin endorsed Biden and Tay Tay is shortly to do the same, any meanness against Tay Tay, any slights against her is contrary to the state policy of the Russian Federation.

"Proud and spiritual" is how I would put it; not angry, per se, but deeply emotional, both for good and ill.
