Not an expert on any of this, but just looking at the situation: 3 lawsuits ongoing, and the fact that you're talking about voluntarily initiating yourself instead of entering litigation when its unavoidable and necessary... I don't think it would be wise to spread yourself so thin here and bring in another thing* to worry about and spend time and money on. If there were zero ongoing lawsuits then I'd change that to a maybe, but still lean towards no. Just seems like its going to add to your work, stress, and drain cash reserves for something that it could be saved up for at a more important time.

The litigation fund is a general purpose war chest, not purely for defense. If a competent lawyer thinks (a big if) this action has a chance of burdening the gobbler or otherwise deterring his nuisance lawfare within a reasonable cost, I say go for it.

Spreading yourself too thin is a concern, of course, but the money is there to be used in legal actions that benefit the Farms. And if my recollection is correct the current fund amount is capped only because the crowdfunding site didn't want to have more payout liability, not because there weren't more contributions ready to come in. I'd happily chip in another $50-100 if the current fund is depleted, and I doubt I'm alone.
