instead of jannies maybe we could do a vote every time a user does a bad thing and only with a super majority 75% votes do they get banned. Democracy instead of jannies.

If reports or bans were handled like that, nothing would get done. People would need to go out of their way to vote on some dumb shit nobody cares about. There are some users that have a heavy bias against others and will definitely skew the results. Plus, people tend to vote for the funnier option. At least if the polls on the threads are anything to go by.

Place I used to mod at, we'd ban the person doing the reporting for a week if the report was bullshit.
