I'd say the problem with what happened with 4chan being infiltrated was that there wasn't anyone to make sure the jannies weren't the usual suspects trying to come in and shit it up. And/or like SCP it was already filled with autists that just wanted social contact so when they were slowly outnumbered with scum they were too autistic to know what to do, and now here we are. I spoke to an ex-admin once and yeah most of the long standing jannies left around the time the Gamergate faggots somehow managed to grasp power. I also believe there were some back and forth that 4chan might be taken down if it doesn't kowtow to whoever or whatever, take it with an average fry's worth of salt.

Null prohibiting porn on the forum isn't just not wanting coomers, it only brings a shitton of problems along. There's a rumor that /b/'s jannies are all feds to watch for CSAM...I'm sure there's SOME truth to that.

I am 100% sure 4chan turned into a honeypot and now the feds regret it since the vast majority of it is just autism rather than big terrorism plans or something (more accurately people who they can convince to commit terrorism plans ). Wouldn't it also be less coomery and more outright illegal or heinous shit like CP and mass shooting plans that brought the feds over (like /d/ or /r9k/ among other boards)?
