Just also gonna say that the old Prime Minister is literally a Communist, part of the Marxist communist party because there's a Maoist version of the Party too...the worst part is that they have a massive amount of influence, especially for a democratic country.

Dogs are supposed to be aspects and messengers of the God of Death that protect your soul on it's journey to the afterlife. It's based on one of their old Epics.

The story is, give or take, is that 5 saints had died and were climbing a mountain in the afterlife to get to Heaven. One of them was accompanied by his dog, who helped him along the way.

Four saints failed in the journey and were dragged away by demons, but the one with the dog survived and made it to the gates of heaven. The King of Gods told him he could enter, but had to leave his dog behind.

The saint said he could never abandon his companion and turned away from Heaven to stay with his dog. The dog then revealed itself to be the God of Death in disguise and vouched for the Saints righteousness. The King of Gods was so impressed that he let him into heaven.


It's a pretty cool festival where they dress up the doggos and feed them all sorts of meat. They even feed the strays. And if anyone harms a dog during the festival, they beat the shit out of them.

Not likely unless Nepal goes full Yugoslav wars, which is plausible since 30% ethnic plurality. At most they'll impose sanctions or limit trading with Nepal unless they start letting the Indian army up to the Chinese border. If anything there might be a chimpout on the Tibetan side too lmao.

There are some loosely related tribes that are part of the Tibetean language family on the southern side of the Himalayas and Tibteans consider that part of their culture sphere, and they are "marginalized' (The ruling ethnic Khashiya), so there's a chance that Nepal might descend into full Yugoslavia tier fighting with a five way shootout between the Hill Groups (Mountain Jeets), Tibetan language Family Tribes (Sherpas and co. they look Tibetan and not like jeets), Newars (Jeet/Tibetan hybrids), Madhesi (Jeet immigrants), Kirati (Burmese).

Theres only just under 100,000 active duty personnel with about the same reservists for a country of 30 million. Half are probably rioting the other half are probably shitting themselves in fear.
 
The Prime Minster signed a Belt and Road Intiative deal in 2024, but they also have a deal with the US. They look like they are playing both sides, to the detriment of the youth. I wonder if the Sea Cable thing has anything to do with this.
