4/17- Chris is Blackmailed and/or Hacked on Twitter

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
A group home is his best possible future. And I mean that in a kind way. It seems like a much prettier picture than him rattling around branchcourt lane till a foreclosure unceremoniously pulls it out from under him.
Those group homes look nice from the outside. He can get his own little room and set up all his toys. I'm sure they have Internet, proper meals.
Just imagine all of the tard fights Chris would start in a group home. Glorious.

I think you're putting way more thought into this than a bureaucrat would.

They would ask:
  • Does Chris have autism?
  • What has his employment history looked like in the past?
  • How well does he function in society? Oh, repeating criminal record? And he's autistic? Seems legit to me. Done.
And that would be the end of it.

I think that since various concerted ween efforts to sink the tugboat thus far have failed, I don't think anything but a huge break in the case would change it.

You're right. What I meant to say wasn't too far from this.

Being "able to work" is not a black and white issue, so those who evaluate SSDI can't apply it that way. The actual criteria becomes more along the lines of "does he have a disability that could materially hamper his ability to work". And as you said, it is usually at a quick glance, most people applying for disability don't have a wiki dedicated to them. So Chris is definitely going to be deemed eligible.

I think it's pretty obvious that Chris is not operating a business selling collectibles or anything like that. No Social Security case worker would look at Chris making an ass of himself online for money and conclude he had a viable, long term business with which he could support himself.

It has more to do with how much he earns and for how long. At a certain point, assuming that Patreon and eBay are considered income, Chris has demonstrated an ability to earn a living and becomes ineligible for SSDI. The criteria is not based on long term sustainability. They don't analyze whether it is a temporary opportunity that will fizzle out in a few years and leave him with the same limited ability to earn an income. Although at that point, he would be eligible for reinstatement.

All that does assume that Patreon and eBay is considered income not charity (which is probably up for interpretation), and that the person who is evaluating his case knows about them or cares enough to find out (which is highly unlikely).

Chris really isn't eligible for work. He's too autismal to work with other people, too unfit to work in manual labor, to stupid to work from home, and too lazy to keep a job.

Which is why I really want Chris to get a job. I'm imagining so many videos of Chris sucking the trolls on the manajerk or his brute male coworkers at subway.

"I had to lift that 3 ton box of deli turkey!"

If anything would ever happen to Chris's tugboat it would be something along the lines of having it reduced because he somehow used Bob's work credits to get SSDI like hes worked all his life.

Im not sure it was ever explained how Bob managed that.

The government allows disabled children SSDI entitlements on their parent's earnings record. At adulthood, the conditions are for Chris to be over 18, unmarried, have a disability from before age 22 and earn less than $1,180 per month at a job, all of which are true.

Does that mean that if Chris' dreams came true and he found a sweetheart to marry he would lose the tugboat?

It would depend upon how much the 'wife' earned herself. It's unlikely the payments would stop, just that they'd be reduced. Unless she's making a significant amount that can support him instead.

EDIT: Um... Edited to specify the wife would have to be in our dimension and have human DNA for any of that to qualify.

EDIT 2: see post below, i am retarded and gay.

Yeah. Since he got his tugboat off of his father's earnings, he would lose his tugboat if he got married unless he married another high functioning autist (see the bulleted item):
If you receive SSDI on your own earnings record, getting married will have no impact on your benefits—no matter how much money your future spouse earns. If you receive SSDI based on someone else’s earnings record, your benefits could be affected in the following ways:
  • If you receive SSDI benefits under an eligible parent’s (earning) record, getting married will cause your benefits to be terminated. The only time benefits will not be terminated in this circumstance is if you are marrying another disabled adult child.

Whoops. I'm retarded. I was going off what I know about collecting off your own earnings.

But... I mean, come on. The likelihood of Chris ever exchanging vows is... Um. Actually, if you told me ten years ago he'd be transexual and making money off of Sonichu and the people mocking him I'd probably have the same amount of doubt so fuck it.

Who knows.
