4chan died circa 2014 tbh. Rule and moderation changes around that time ruined notably both /cgl/ and /pol/ as well as other places and in general. And then as zoomers aged they infected the site with their degenerate zooming (see; trannies, Bella Janke type pickme women, femboy Nazis, etc.) People complain correctly about redditors but the bigger problem is zoomers. I haven't seriously used the site in years and the new CAPTCHA is definitely a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, that's the year i conciously left and only visited sporadically after, eventually stopping entirely. I still say the true death blow were the 2016 elections coupled with various faggot subreddits getting banned and /pol/ getting overrun by tourists. /pol/ shit was never contained even before that but after the influx of cultureless r*dditors it leaked into virtually every other good board. Shortly before i left only /k/ and maybe /ck/ were the last boards that were good, even /tg/ and /vr/ became noticably more shittier and weren't fun to post in anymore.

If you're getting bored with a board (ha) then I'd try going on the other boards you don't normally go on to find something you might like. I've done this recently and am starting to like /ck/. That board always making me hungry does not mean a thing.

Same is true for KF, i feel a lot of people on here don't even realize how much varied content the forum has to offer and are stuck on a single cow or subforum. It's a "4chan is only /b/" kinda situation for most, i think.

Forgive me for my tech ignorance, but is it set to auto-renew on the expiration date? Or is it going to be renewed sometime in the next few weeks before it expires? 4chan only uses its news tab for the annual birthday announcement for the site in October, so I'm guessing it's going to be renewed soon since there's no mention of the registration being renewed with Cloudflare? I don't see any information on 4chan's Twitter, either. Any helpful information for how this kind of stuff works would be appreciated.

If 4chan ever went down for real it would be a retard exodus on the level of tumbler banning porn, an event so significant that most modern problems on the internet can be directly traced back to it.
