I remember I would occasionally go onto /b/ when I was bored trying to see if there was anything funny among all the porn and this one tranny kept spamming porn of himself with some kind of demonic sigil demanding the viewer goon to him for ritualistic purposes. Horrifying stuff. With all the stuff we're learning about jannies I wouldn't be surprised if it was one spamming himself on the board.

Remember too, one unique revelation out of all of this not being talked about is no mods or jannies assigned to /b/
I think this is pretty important here, bc the assumption it was mass handled is conjecture. we dont have proof. what we do know - no one inside 4chan was assigned to /b/, so who was doing it?

Also there's a discrepency in when the hack took place, it was April 14th EDT but April 15th UTC, just putting that out there.

And you can't even tell because

1. The only 'moderation' on /v/ was based on ABIB's whims, when he hated a particular game (SCP) or topic (Billy Mitchell lawsuits) the jannies would be all hands on deck instanuking any thread about it, but would leave up porn and off topic twitter threads for hours.
2. /vg/ was virtually unmoderated, every general had at least 1 schizo who would shit the thread up daily and no amount of reporting ever made a difference
