American foods standards definitely have room for improvement (it's why RFK Jr. was appointed to his current position, I really like that guy for the most part) but this just doesn't mean anything. Half the regulation throughout Europe exists to prevent American products from competing over there. If this regulation didn't exist, America produces such massive amounts of food and crops that homegrown European stuff couldn't compete.
