I'm pretty sure Phil is just visiting every doctor he can to try and find one irresponsible enough to write a letter for him. Even if he does get it, he still doesn't meet the other qualifications required for SRS that were previously stated.

So... I mentioned in (I think) another thread I know a former victim of Ahuviya's that goes to Mazzoni. I mentioned this post to him, and he was just like "Well, that should be interesting, considering the last time I went in for my meds, I probably saw the same doctor he'd have to get a letter from, and discussed how being reminded of Phil was affecting my anxiety." We're not sure how professional it would be for the doctor to take another patient's opinion into account, but Ahuviya's reputation got there first.

So what happens after he gets these letters? He has to find a surgeon willing to cut open his stink sac and pop out his marbles? Or is there more therapy and life style changes required?

If I was a doctor and a homeless potato suffering from DID rolled into my van/clinic I'd totally cut off his balls if he showed me a few letters. I could not see how that could possibly hurt my career at all.
Either Phil is lying or he is being really optimistic/arrogant about how this will go down for him. He could just assume that once he has some paperwork that that will be it and then they'll just schedule him for a sac snipping. He could be that fucking dumb. We won't know until we hear who he blames for the surgery not happening in 6 months. If he goes on some kind of crusade while chimping out against a specific doc or someone part of the process then we'll know it was Phil just not being well-informed. Anything with less fervor will mean he was lying the entire time. When he's full of shit he'll keep mentioning something (Kiwi shooting, Angelo) as if to remind everyone that it's totally true but when he gets pissed his facebook updates actually seem to be quick, angry and definitive, like when he wrote Tweaker off as a friend. It's what manipulators do. If something really actually angers or scares them then they become 100% more effective at dealing with it, avoiding it, or cutting it out of their life.

Either Phil is lying to doctors to get the letters, or he's lying to his friends about what he's actually doing/taking.
Or, there's another option, he's lying about having letters at all. It's not outside Phil's capability to lie about big life events...we've seen him do it countless times. I'm kinda feeling like this is a big set-up to some TransLatinx Conspiracy blowout for Phil. Like he's, all of a sudden, not going to be able to get the surgery after he's tried so hard to get it and got half of the required stuff he needs.
Or, he's lied to doctors and will get his surgery; in which case.... good for him (I guess?). It's not like having his penis removed and a vagina hole put in is going to make Phil's life suddenly better. And when he realizes this, the Phil-Train is only going to get better when he starts creating problems to get sympathy and asspats.

If some doc-in-the boxes can set up their business model around prescribing pain meds to anyone who walks in and asks for it, there are probably unethical doctors willing to sign off on ADF's bullshit if he's resourceful and persistent enough.

Getting the letters is one thing, but does anyone actually think there is a real doctor that will perform the ball removal?
Phil is a smelly, dirty homeless man with no money and no support. What legitimate doctor is going to perform a completely unnecessary surgery on an individual that is not healthy or hygienic enough to survive surgery and if by a miracle does survive will die soon after from complications because he lives under a bridge, has no friends or family that care about him or visit him, and is incapable of caring for himself? That's a good way to lose your medical license.

As long as he doesn't die on the table or in the hospital... Some doctors don't are about much else. If Phil has the proper papers and such, who are they to say no? Though maybe a hospital wouldn't accept him (or the surgery) for some reason?

The reason they're able to get these letters (assuming they're not lying) is because the clinics they visit all operate on what's called an informed consent model. They don't use the WPATH standards of care, which are the requirements someone cited earlier. Essentially they hand out letters like free candy as long as you sign a waiver releasing them from any and all liability. They'll probably find a surgeon that uses this model.

So he uses informed consent clinics to get the letter, but do these clinics also offer the services too? It seems like CA or Oregon or whoever he wants to foot the bill won't pay up unless you follow the WPATH steps, and that includes more than the letters.
