They don't use the WPATH standards of care, which are the requirements someone cited earlier. Essentially they hand out letters like free candy as long as you sign a waiver releasing them from any and all liability.

Such services will probably get a shock in the form of a financially crippling liability verdict when they find that people can't give informed consent to shit they don't understand and they give a letter to a schizophrenic who later gets better and wonders what the fuck they did.

Getting the letters is one thing, but does anyone actually think there is a real doctor that will perform the ball removal?
Phil is a smelly, dirty homeless man with no money and no support. What legitimate doctor is going to perform a completely unnecessary surgery on an individual that is not healthy or hygienic enough to survive surgery and if by a miracle does survive will die soon after from complications because he lives under a bridge, has no friends or family that care about him or visit him, and is incapable of caring for himself? That's a good way to lose your medical license.

That's not what the bogus trannies complain about though. They complain about exactly the opposite. Even though presumably they stand to make some money by doing a surgery, unnecessary or not, they complain that the medical professionals actually act as gatekeepers.

It wouldn't necessarily be "pennies on the dollar." It really depends on the state, his managed care plan, etc. They sometimes pay more than private insurance does.
