This might be a stupid question, but I'm autistic enough to be curious about this and I couldn't find an answer with the bit of searching I did.

While at the moment it seems like Everfree is still planning on hosting the con, judging by how a few hours ago they sent a tweet announcing the hotel they're hosting it at, but I'm still curious.

@Null What is the contingency plan in case Everfree gets cancelled at the last minute? Say, there's a huge surge of the Delta variant in Seattle and the city or state decides to lock down again?

bet my bottom dollar he either tries taking all the crap he buys on the return trip home in his carry on so the airline wont lose it then chimp when his old clothes and "non essential" stuff is lost. or tell the airline to be extra careful and take good care of the suitcase with said con junk luggage and threatens to sue them if they lose it.

I'm hoping for the latter, nothing would piss chris off more than a bunch of bigger autists than him in baggage handling losing his "one of a kind." ENW t shirts and art prints.

I honestly don't think there'll be another lockdown. Mask mandate maybe but a lockdown at this point would just result in another Jan 6.

Well, since Null had to give him the money back now because of the latest sexual events, looks like you guys will need a new GoFundMe, Chris might return home in time to still peacefully plan attending Everfree and he will need more money.

Even if Chris does go, even he can't shake off what he's said, much like he's done for the past few years; fuck something up, forget about it later. Either he'll get swarmed by people trying to get him to dish out more details, or they will avoid Chris - it will be like the Pony gala all over again. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Everfree organizers know of this now and are planning to ban Chris, or limit where he can go within the convention center.

Christ, I knew Chris would find a way to fuck things up somehow... but not this soon... and CERTAINLY not like this.
Now, about the gofundme... the way I see it, I think the money should go back. The charity was made in order to send Chris to bronyland, not to cover his ass for sexually assaulting his 80 year old mother.
Now, if they WANT Chris to keep the money for whatever godforsaken reason, that's one thing. But the situation has changed and their money may not be used how they were promised it would be.
... and frankly, I don't want to see a sick fucker who mentally abused and sexually assaulted their mother get by on charity money that was previously collected for something else.

Agreed. Anyone who donated to this mother fucker is never seeing that money or even a shitty doodle for there charity. But look on the bright side he can afford somewhere to stay before the court slams the book at him
 
As I understood it, this was Null's experiment to see if he could instill some work ethic in Chris. If this ends with Chris getting burnt (again) and not being paid for his work, he's going to continue not working in the future.

Commissions and shoutouts were completed as promised, so let the motherfucker keep what the motherfucker worked for. Give refunds to people who donated under $40 or haven't received their commission yet, but if they got something in return for their money, then they're SOL.

IANAL obviously, and I look forward to hearing GoFundMe's opinion.
