Chris is going to end up one of those psychos living with a bunch of cats except half of them are dead rotting in the hoard. When they evict him and drag him out to beat him on his front lawn and record his screams, it will be a scene too awful for Hoarders.

Thanks for reminding me about the Hoarders episode with the frozen liquid kittens lady.

Off topic, but I watch this every Christmas season nowadays. It's a haunting reminder of consumerism, selfishness, egotism, and reproducing with women like Barb that keeps me thinking that Christmas is about spending time with loved ones or the needy and not about myself and the presents I may or may not get (or want!)

If one puts oneself as Bob while watching it, it's actually a more disturbing film than Scrooge meeting the Ghost of Christmas future.

Off-topic briefly again, but...

Jesus Christ, I remember watching this and dying a little bit on the inside. Not because of how awful it is, but how Bob must have felt.

Bob, as various things show, did genuinely care for his little autist. But even he couldn't repress a brief, derisive snort of laughter when Chris's Christmas letter starts on about his epic Love Quest.

To be honest, the cat looked ill to me in the initial photo Chris posted with the kitten. Watery eyes, usually a sign of an upper respiratory infection in cats. It's very common and typically viral so not much you can do about it. Kittens are particularly susceptible to this and the reality is, some can kick it and others can't. Might not be his fault imo, not much a vet could have probably done either except supportive care.

You know, sometimes I think that Western Society was too hasty to abandon eugenics entirely after World War Two. Just a bit too hasty. Maybe it should be time to calmly and rationally reexamine eugenics? Take a good long look at it with an impartial eye. I'm not sure why I'm bringing it up now though, but something tells me it's the right time to begin this discussion.
I'm not sure you're well-equipped to survive eugenics tbh.

Especially under the care of Chris. That survival rate plummets faster than my dreams and future.

Maybe we're being too hasty to judge....

I mean did you ever stop to think that maybe that cat was Hitler in it's past life? 🤔

that cat was feral and therefore doomed. It didn't matter much that they spent their doomed life with chris chan. For every dog euthanized in a shelter, they put down several cats. Cats are barely domesticated, they need human contact as kittens to be anyone's pet. There are too many cats for people to reasonably save them, and feral life is pretty bad. If anyone is this thread is genuinely getting fucked up over posse's death, you can do something constructive by volunteering for groups that capture & spay/neuter feral cats (they are released after that since they can't learn to like people). There is also a movement to try and adopt them out as "barn cats" in rural areas.

Pretty common for kittens to die but I don't think its chances were made any better by being entered into the Chandler household.

I wonder how Chris would deal with the wild chickens on the island where I live. Taking in 10 chicks one time and they die because he lazily feeds them bird seed instead of letting them be with their hen mother growing up on bugs and worms and lizards like they should.
