Just wanted to note the Japanese lady who Phil was making fun of yesterday spoke way better English that Phil speaks any other language, for example his terrible attempts at Italian which we've all heard. Also I'd love to see Phil try and speak Japanese.

Just saying anyone with half a brain respects someone who's learned two languages, meanwhile mental midget Phil is trying to use it as a way to pretend he's smarter.

It's just the low-key racism being presented. I just cannot help but think about the chicka chang way cholly chang shit he pulled, and making sure we know pandalee is not asian, that is all. Then pulling a micro aggression as the african american can speak proper english.

It's just hilarious. We know he's a big fat fucking racist but he tries so hard to be politically correct when that's everything he despises doing.

I feel like a lot of English speakers don't realize that if we tried to learn Japanese, our accents would sound just as bad to them as their English is to us. Probably worse; we'd probably sound like some Deliverance motherfuckers or something.

I adore the attempt of speaking German even if it sounds completely wrong. This is SO CUTE. Real and ahnest appreciation.

The more Phil's elitist behavior about English language disgusts me.
 
Someone cheered DSP and asked why he couldn't be honest while watching E3 live since his reasoning is that everyone that watches live overreacts. DSP's response was to say that if watching the stream live would be him doing nothing but writing down notes.

Also, I think I just realized that if DSP streamed it live, then he would lose that sweet Youtube ad revenue because he wouldn't be able to post the video due to copyright.

Did the potato say anything about Keanu Reeves, one of the only genuinely cool things to come out so far, or is he so divorced from the cultural zeitgiest that he doesn’t know that John Wick is a thing and why him being there is cool?

I know he said at some point in the Minecraft stream that they used him because John Wick is popular and that video games have been using popular actors for millenia or something. He was rambling a whole bunch of shit by that point.

He could have said something cool that referenced all the other Cyberpunk work Keanu has been a part of from Johnny Mnemonic to the Matrix, but no, instead he just complains because it's darksdaphil and that's what he does. He whines and cries like an entitled little kid, likely because that's when his mother would pay him the most attention.
 
I can't wait for DSP to shit all over The Punisher. That should be hilarious.
 
Honestly, DSP's chat comments during the E3 stuff is a great insight into his personality. Pretty much every comment is negative, focused on potential downfalls, and basically making fun of everything being shown ("this is old", "this looks terrible"). Even "paid shills" made a return when The Division's promo used a few clips from Twitch streamers, who obviously couldn't have been playing because they liked the game.

Phil, I know you read here (or have a minion who reports to you), so remember something--you get back what you put out. You want to know why everyone is so negative around you? That's what you cultivate. You're either so joyless that nothing about games truly excites you, or you're so afraid of taking a chance and expressing a positive emotion about a big game that you can't simply enjoy gaming.

I do find it funny that Phil is going to play Fallout 76 and potentially Division 2 solely because they're free. Thing is, it looks like he's going to play them for like....one stream? So you can look forward to 4 hours of the tutorial, Phil bitching about mundane shit, and a lot of "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING"s.

I'd imagine it's just some half-assed attempt at deflection so he can dump all over a near-universally reviled title and a currently popular title respectively while screaming about how he gave each of them a fair shake when recent events have shown he can be ~30 hours deep into a game and not know the first thing about it.

That's a feat, by the way. I was in Japan when Pocket Fighter came out and despite being entirely in Japanese and my knowledge of the language being basically how to apologize and asking where the toilet was within one evening I had the mechanics down pretty well.
