Yes! It's splotchy and looks like it might just be caked on concealer? Or maybe a tinted sunscreen/lotion? I would think that if he used a spray-on tan he'd look orange with weird brown goo in his face lines from the product settling in.

I used to over apply bronzer when I was first learning makeup as a preteen, my theory is that he bought a dark bronzer or some other powder and used 3cm thick of it on his face.
