There is a fair amount of hostility between straight MLs and MLMs, which are a weird hybrid and tend to be more weird and fanatical. Orthodox MLs are more likely to be involved in (semi) mainstream groups like the Democratic Socialists while Maoists tend to gravitate toward fucked up personality cults like the RCP and its offshoots and front groups.

Yes, it's an SWP front group, like Unite Against Fascism also is, or World Can't Wait and Refuse Fascism are fronts for the RCP. These groups often have multiple names but the same core cast as their directors. I don't really see the point in having these as front groups when all the people involved are exactly the same as the core group.
