He got lucky in as much as that he was able to get in with the nascent social justice scene when he was still relatively young. They won't call him out because they have generally been drilled with the idea that a person is whatever they say they are, and about half of them are claiming to be descendant from Cherokee princesses or something. If they called out Phil theres a good chance someone would call them out.

Ironically if he had been a little later to the party, he may very well have gotten accused of "cultural appropriation," which is one of the biggest sins he could have committed. Especially considering he waddled around in a poncho and Hot Topic bondage gear while claiming to be Japanese and Jewish. LOL. Actually I guess Dusty still makes fun of him for that behind his back.

Has he started this 'highway patrol' on the back of hearing that 'Nazis shouldn't drive' slogan? If so that's hilarious

The slogan refers to Ian Stuart of (british) Nazi Punk band Skrewdriver and his fatal car crash. Luckily for his American counterparts, Phil and his daughter bike are on patrol to ensure vehicular safety.

The difference is that Tommy T has made himself far more notorious at Rainbow gatherings than Mr. Potato has with AF mob-scenes, so there's all sorts of online intel warning attendees about the former's predilection for kiddy-diddling and generally deranged behavior. I get the impression that if Portland's black-mask contingent take any notice of Fatso at all, they consider him more an embarrassment than anything else, and ignore him.

I doubt anyone even knows who he is. Phil chose highway patrol so he can wank over street signs, and because he knows he won't bump into any real antifa there as antifa couldn't give a shit about highways or patrolling them. It tickles Phil's fetish for police, uniforms and being in a position of power, too.

I'm curious as to what Phil thinks he can actually do on his "highway patrol". Watch traffic go past? Squeak to himself if he sees a car with a "make America great again" bumper sticker? What's the point?

I think behind the personna, there's just enough thinking Phil to realize his role in society has some hard limits (welcome to adulthood) and he's bitter about that, so he throws the baby out with the bathwater and just goes with society is the enemy in order to invalidate the limits and hide from reality in his dreamworld.
