It's not confirmed, but the evidence points to him still being in the UK.

Whether someone is a biological man/woman should hold little weight in how they live their lives, what social roles they perform, etc.

Spoiler alert, this is actually quite incompatible with the whole tranny obsession. Gender abolitionist views clash extremely with people who are super obsessed with gender stereotypes and enjoy ridiculously maximized gender expression. It's pretty telling that male trannies almost always decide to be pig-tail, pink wearing girly girls who want to talk about makeup and boys instead of tomboys.

It's probably correct that gender as a category is mostly useless. We can recognize that men (as in sex) are suited better to certain tasks than women, without creating strict societal norms (gender) for individuals who might want to deviate. But we evolved towards pattern matching everything everywhere (see astrology), which means we won't be able to get rid of this so easily.

IIRC r/nottheonion went private and then reopened after an hour about 12 hours ago, so I'd give it a day.

I'm just amazed at whatever internal politics at Reddit allowed this to happen. The brand damage risk is immense and they had to have known this at the outset, but there was likely some fairly high-level commitment to equate standing by Aimee as standing by the trans community. Even if the subreddit blackouts blow over (which they always do) I wouldn't be surprised if this provides a serious blow to Reddit's "Anti-Evil Operations", which will now seem like even more of a sick joke when people assert that it is literally being managed by Aimee.
