As for the politics thing, local grass-roots politics is filled with loons with far too much time on their hands. People who go out canvassing and start social media campaigns are usually volunteers, leading to an over-representation of passionate single-issue weirdos, old people, the unemployed and the like. As for Challenor, him and his dad were both politically active with the Green Party, with the dad producing graphics for the LGBTQ sub group. I wonder how much of Aimee's activism was actually him parroting what his dad told him. People might think it was creepy for a married father to be campaigning about LGBT shit, but a real life trans woman, no problemo...

And here we run into a problem in UK politics. Much fuss is made about the fact a huge number of our MPs entered politics by the following route: study PPE at Oxford, then become an MP's assistant for a year. This is unpaid, so only open to those able to afford their living costs for a year. From there, they have to work their way up in the party before getting selected as a candidate in an election. But then I look at the likes of Aimee Challenor and I don't think the system is so bad. In the major parties, the lunatics are only able to cause real chaos at the local level. But in the Greens, a troubled, special needs kid with no experience or knowledge of politics (although apparently he now has a degree) swiftly rose through the ranks and was going to stand for deputy leader! If we had live TV debates again about a referendum issue and the Green's leader was taken ill, we'd have had the greasy thumb Aimee live on TV alongside the PM! Why work hard to make your way in politics when you can be a TRA?

As online activism has taken over from IRL the need for the autistic has skyrocketed. They pretty much run the world now. There are very good reasons why these greasy haired weirdos were bullied to within an inch of their lives back in the day. Some will respond to the bullying and improve themselves (like taking a shower and lose some weight) some will slink off to become depressed neets, living with their mom and hopefully necking themselves before they do damage to the wider society. Now they've been enabled and elevated we're seeing the effects of their degeneracy infect the culture. It' started of with nerd culture becoming cool, how quaint grown ass men obsessing over children's entertainment, and now we're at the point where whatever sub human urge they experience must be normalized and celebrated.

Yeah, plus amazed how Ashton managed to in few years get to position where he had a real shot at undersecretary position in national party that firlds reps in Commons.

When I Google a name they have censored, I don't. Mostly happens with trans names and deadnames.

I noticed this after Liz Fong-Jones (a former Google employee) started harassing my email server's VPS company. I made a thread containing their complaint. Now, unless you search explicitly 'kiwi farms' or similar, no mention of Liz Fong-Jones on Kiwi Farms appears in search results at all.

Basically, Google has a lot of Ts in their workforce that will happily censor the forum and hand curate search results for other Ts.
