In AW2's defense, the first game also had a music number. That one made sense because it was a rock concert. Rock concerts are known for using elaborate lighting and the enemies of Alan Wake are vulnerable only when exposed to light. It was a neat gimmick that tied together well with the gameplay.
Alan Wake 2 just has an entire 20 minute mission that's basically an interactive music video. You literally walk around and see video clips of performers. It really shows you the limit of their creativity. The reason why the performance looks so corny at TGA is because it was already corny in the game.

Alan Wake 2 never received a round of applause though. No one liked it when it launched because it was a broken disaster. No one likes it even now that the game's performance issues have been patched.

Despite Sony's lies TLoU2 was a flop. The leaked sale numbers showed 10 million copies sold and we know that game had an enormous budget. No wonder they're already doing a remaster.

Did Infinite replace a clearly white character with a nigger? I don't think so, altho it did have a cringe, strawman "white man bad!" message
About right, since both games are interactive movies. At the very least, Infinite is still a game
I'd even add shit like Life is Strange and the 2010s Tomb Raider trilogy as they're also interactive movies.

Was it? The idea behind the original alan wake is that it was a metaphor in alan's head. His wife isn't actually gone because demons kidnapped her, the game represents the rift between alan's obsession as a horror writer sucking away at his relationships because he has an awful work life balance and is so obsessed that even his marital struggles are a horror story that he ends up writing.
Then control comes around and is like "no lol it was all real the thermos was an object of power lmao"

From what I've seen the Alan Wake 2 influence is less than the other games, and the credits of their involvement on their site was much more vague and short than the others. I'm not going to let companies that think shoving these retarded groups on devs is a necessity sour the good parts of a game entirely. I've seen so many people that found out about this suddenly act like they never liked the game in the first place SOLELY for clout online since Sweet baby inc is trending as bad.
Don't get me wrong, it IS a fucking bad and absolutely retarded decision to give them any power, and Sweet Baby inc are also very very fucking bad, but if their higher ups and employees didn't have an intense meltdown on twitter over some random fucking steam user copy/pasting the credits to games they said they worked on on their site that millions saw you fucking KNOW the reddit and twitter people would be going "uhmmm akshually it's just a conspiracy who even is this company it's a nothingburger!" EVERYONE saw this shit behavior, there's no defending Sweet bBaby now, so now the clout game is to pretend everything was always bad and was never good. Fuck that shit lmao. I hate sweet baby inc and these two faced clowns equally. The nonsensical race swapping of Saga and the one line when she's going schizo where she makes a comment about white people are very clearly sweet baby's meddling as it doesn't really match the tone of the rest of the game.
