Alan Wake II - The highly anticipated sequel that no one cared about to a game from 2010 that no one cared about

Mr Door is a rename/change of actor for Mr Hatch from Quantum Break. I didn’t play that game so I only get the sense that he’s vaguely powerful but he doesn’t really do much and the final time you meet with him ends totally anticlimactically.
That bitch?!?!? Fuck him.

Okay so the plot of quantum break is time travel faggotry creates a recusrive loop about time travel faggotry that creates a recursive loop etc. etc. where all the "choices" you make in each iteration might or might not have happened and unlike all iterations of this shit. Time doesn't take getting anally raped sitting down. So reality itself breaks apart causing time paradox monsters to seep out of the time that broke to other timelines causing the time travel faggotry that creates a recursive loop about time faggotry that causes a recursive loop.

Out of all this paradoxical time bullshit what is essentially time lords appear, people - almost always the cause of time fuckery to arrive, are the only 'sane' beings from this broken timeline. Sane being an operative word. It'd be more coherent to say "coherent."

So essentially amongst all of this, this guy "Mr Hatch" is a time lord trying to make other time lords for reasons. Giving time travellers epic choices that compound their reality's paradox until ti creates the time travel faggotry creates a recursive loop about etc. etc.

tl;dr - retard wants more time lords like him, to make a time lord you have to give a time traveller free choice until causality shits itself from all the branching timelines causing a singularity where everyone but the time traveller is insane and mutilated by quantum physics. With said time traveller becoming timelord with quantum magic powers.

Yes, I actually liked this actual horror bullshit until sweet baby got their grippy fingies all over it. I fucking missed this shit. Still pissed about the failures right now.

I played Control and kind of hated it, but I immediately noticed that this guy looks like David Lynch

And considering the plot of Control and Alan Wake its intentional. I just can't figure out if its up its own ass about it or not.
I tried playing Control and controlling the lady just wasn't fun at all. I found the enemies uninspired and the other dimension of various geometric shapes looked boring. I hope whoever worked as the art director for that game was fired.
He stopped uploading 10 months ago after doing it daily for a long time, maybe hes working on a project or something.
Maybe he's dead and his grandchildren haven't noticed it yet.

Max Payne 3 is better than Alan Wake 2

Let that sink in.
I had fun in the airplane level, the modern mansion level and the graveyard level. At one point you're on a speeding train and you're shooting at people that are on the speeding train next to you. In the airplane level you can go prone on the escalator for fat people.

Those levels were a good fit because the highlight of the old Max Payne games were those big action moments that were accompanied by stupid wacky stuff. In the second game there's a level where you're escorting a man in a baseball bat boy uniform that has a bomb attached to it.
The highlight of Alan Wake II must be refunding the game and uninstalling Epic Games. It's a shame I haven't played it to experience that myself.

Max Payne 3 multiplayer was the most fun I had in a PvP, killing Brazilian players while they scream in Portuguese about TVB's mom while I spam family guy peter jajajaja.
I mean Brazilian women, am I right?

It’s funny seeing people talk about Quantum Break and that they are still using stuff from it considering I don’t even think they own those characters and the IP at all. I’m pretty sure Quantum Break is owned fully by Microsoft, which makes sense because if you remember that game was one part of a whole product, the game and the tv show that would tie in and like run alongside the game. Fucking remember when they announced the Xbox One and pushed so much of that tv shit, how’d that work for you Microsoft you fucking retards lol.

Well since I guess I’m the only idiot still playing this dumb game I guess I should talk about the recent news.

Dec 11: Remedy releases an update that adds New Game+. In New Game+ you keep all your items and weapons (you pick them up from any shoebox) but it otherwise resets all your progress. This mode also adds new pages and even new cutscenes.

Dec 12: Remedy admits they fucked up the patch and it has several glaring issues. Specifically, you can’t choose your endgame save, so if you beat the game, then went back and grabbed all the collectibles you missed, it doesn’t matter because it will automatically use the first finished save. (https://twitter.com/alanwake/status/1734634265424584859)

Also, since it resets ALL your progress, you can do the nursery rhymes again and grab the charms again. Only their effects don’t stack so they just sit uselessly in your inventory forever.

Something else I discovered is that you have to collect ALL the manuscript pages again, and on top of that it doesn’t indicate which pages are specific to the NG+ run (Alan Wake 1 put a little icon on those pages) so I hope you remember every single manuscript page so you can tell what’s new and what’s old.

These are all issues that would’ve been found within 30 seconds of actually testing the game so I can only assume that they were fully aware of them but rushed the patch out the door to make their deadline. (It took me an hour to run into these issues since you play as a fat naked retard for 10 minutes and then are locked into mostly unskippable bullshit for the next 45 minutes)

the only good games remedy have ever done are the original max payne and control. they give me david gaider vibes that nobody plays-like their games but for some reason they are astroturfed as fuck

EVERY. FUCKING. TIME!

I bought super late, so although probably no one will read the thread anymore, I'll still give my 2 cents:
Seems about mid game, Saga starts ranting about white men.
Maybe I missed it, but I finished it with over 40 hours in it and didn't see any wokeness, thank God. And I am as anti-woke as one can get.

In my personal opinion, this is not TLoU2, it's actually a fantastic game.

And the chick being black may be in fact a positive thing lore wise (but I won't post more so people don't get spoiled).

Great game. A few technical hiccups on ps5 (dropped frames in some areas) but it never bothered me. The audio design is absolutely fantastic, it impressed me even more than the graphics.

Your mileage may vary ofc, but if you liked other Remedy games, I'd say it is a hard "buy".

its pretty late game, but it's just a single line that is a result of dark place™ fucking with saga, and honestly could be ignored or skipped and you wouldnt even notice otherwise.

Thanks man. I may try new game+, I'll pay more attention this time. If they did put it there, then that's fucked up and I'm not buying another Remedy game again.

I've never seen a game with so much marketing flop so hard. It even got nominated for everything at TGA even though no one has even played AW2.

Is Remedy Naughty Dog 2.0 now? Haven't seen a game get shilled so hard and then fail so hard since TLOU2.
