Well this should be interesting…where’s Noah now? 6C413604-35F8-484A-917A-CD81F228CF06.jpeg

Godspeed little fetus. Amazed you made it this far. Hope you aren't about to become tard baby general's next hot topic.

IG story videos. Her body can't take any more. Having contractions, can't eat. Delivery is imminent. Baby is OK. She's admitted but not in ICU. Who had 31 weeks? It's @Jimmy Dean Bowl should have gone into obstetrics mate you were shockingly accurate "reality says that things yeeting itself at 31 weeks".

Still no sign or mention of Noah.

Someone earlier on said she would probably try making herself lactate for OF content without realising it can cause contractions.
I mean it could also be Branxton Hicks, but either way this poor baby is arriving.

If any of you have worked in Obstetrics or Paeds, you'll know the feeling of seeing a newborn and knowing the family background and just thinking "damn, your life is fucked before it's even started, huh".

Yeah.

I suspect Alex is so much of a princess she can't take the mild discomfort of Braxton Hicks. She also seems to really want her baby NOW, consequences be damned. Because of her disability, I don't know if sending her home is smart given there's something weird going on with Alex and I'm not 100% sure what's up just by looking at the thread.

I hope they got a urine drug screen, even if she thinks she's clean. Pregnant women get tired, but I'm curious if her tiredness continued after Noah left.

Also, nah to the looking at someone's family background and judging them. Some people know what it's like to be judged for that constantly from birth and make a conscious choice to approach every person as an individual. Those things can make all the difference in 20 years, and if you're wrong, nothing lost.

Was having a bit of a swot up on the prognosis for the little fetus and it's fairly good news that she made it to 31 weeks. Survival rates between 95 and 99% depending where you look. The risks of mortality in general and also things like sepsis, Cerebral Palsy, necrotising enterocolitis, chronic lung disease much lower than for a preemie at just a few weeks less gestation.

The biggest risk to little baby A (and Alex) now is that nightmare intubation and delivery which surely a gasman or lady somewhere in Chicago is already losing sleep over.

Pregnant women get tired,

Do you know what makes you very tired? Hypoxia. She had a little over 20% lung function going in to pregnancy, and has contorted anatomy and limited movement. A healthy woman with room to expand their body can feel pressed for air in the third trimester. We already know she is struggling to breathe, and is getting extra ventilatory support. She's on a pulmonary unit.

I think lack of oxygen to the baby is more likely to disable it, than the category X drug exposure. This is a hell of an interesting case study.

But yeah, if she's extra tired I'd bet oxygen levels were the first thing they checked.

She still doesn’t seem to grasp how serious any of this is, at all. Just, “teehee I’m uncomfy but I can’t wait to meet my baby gurl soon!” Incredible.

I‘m sure Noah is rushing home from India as we speak!
I can't even tell if she gives a fuck about Noah or whether he was a conveniently idiotic sperm donor to satisfy either her baby fever or (forgive the darkness of my thoughts) her fetish content patrons. She certainly isn't short of money since falling pregnant.

Pre eclampsia, not good. Hopefully it won’t progress to eclampsia. Pre ecamplsia signs are high blood pressure and protein in the urine. Sometimes swelling in the legs. It would also explain the fatigue though the diminished lung capacity also plays a part in that as well.

All I’m going to say is good luck to the little baby. 31 weeks has a 90 to 95 percent survival rate. The issues 31 seekers face are : immature lungs, immature immune system, sucking reflex, or enough body fat to maintain their body temperature. Baby will be classified as very preterm.

Modern medicine will help mitigate all these issues and I wouldn’t be surprised if baby is also jaundiced (happens with full term babies because the liver is immature), but baby could also face cerebral palsy as a result of being premature. But you never know. I was a 26 weeker and I have nothing wrong with me.

Good luck little bb!

This is grim AF. Maybe it's because I'm not disabled and haven't spent my entire life in a medicalized setting but this just seems really dire to me. I guess it's just normal to Alex and not a big deal because she's disabled? I don't know. So much shit can go horribly wrong during a "normal" pregnancy and delivery but here's super high risk Alex, boppin' along, so excited and ready to meet Baby A, seemingly unfazed by the absolute peril they're both in. I'm just going assume that Noah has cut the family vacay short and is en route to save the day.

Noah doesn't seem to have his phone. He's completely inactive on social media. The most simple explanation is rehab. Alex admitted he relapsed on kratom a few weeks ago. He did not seem sober at her Birthday party and vanished soon after.

She doesn’t. She has the same lack of awareness about the situation that Kim (if you’re familiar with the Sammieverse) had when she was in labor. She does not grasp her baby will absolutely be spending quite a bit of time in the NICU on oxygen support and a feeding tube. 31-32 weeks is super early. My son was 35 weeks and needed support for about a week. He had nearly a month longer in the womb than her daughter will and it was still hard for him.

Alex is delusional as well, thinking she could do this four times? Ha.
I interpreted it as she wanted to have more kids via adoption or surrogacy not that she herself would be pregnant again. But I agree she's delusional if she thinks she'll be able to take care of more than one kid.

I wonder how much is a coping mechanism and how much is just ignorance and not having been through a birth before. Because I feel sometimes you don't get what could go wrong until you've experienced giving birth and the reality of it all hits you then.
