Look, Reddit Jannies are all the biggest idiots on Earth. "I have one life to life, and I'm gonna spend it doing this shitty job for nothing on a dumb site with all sorts of stupid rules I have to enforce. Oh, but muh power complex makes it worthwhile." But at least if it's like an Astronomy subreddit or a philosophy subreddit or fuck, I'll even say an unsolved crime subreddit, you have an inkling of doing something worthwhile or at least participating in fun and interesting conversation.

But signing up to be the Reddit Janny of the Wheelchair Rapunzel sub has to be indication of something seriously wrong with the person. Idk if it's the mod with SA or what, if you mod the Wheelchair Rapunzel subreddit there's something deeply fucked up in your brain. These people are logging in every damn day to tell people that they can't call Alex a crippled slut or say "Kiwi Farms" lest we be summoned to doxxxxxxx all of them.

Redditors all assume we are shit fondling because they REALLY WANT to fondle the shit (To any uninformed reading here: this means to interfere in a Lolcow's life). Even the Redditards who don't pet the poop REAAAAAALLY want to. A good deal fancy themselves activists, after all - but they're "good guys" so they stay on the leash Reddit keeps them on and heel by the mods.

But the thing is, those of us who post here don't want to get involved. We want to laugh. We are classic people-watchers, the lot of us, on this board at least. I agree with @often puzzled that the person(s) doing the reporting* are probably not regular posters on Reddit or anything, but it's about site culture.

Reddit forbids doxing and interference, true - but they also kinda make it outlaw-ish and sexy. "Oooh that's baaaaad, you broke the laaaaw, we're gonna call the police, you bad baddie." Whereas here on Kiwi Farms, we are fine with doxing (looking) but the touchers are losers. We don't care that you broke a law or the site rules so much as the fact that this is a show for us, and a scat patter is like a person standing up during a play and yelling at the main actor.

*Not convinced that the reports aren't "coming from inside the house" in the sense that this could very well be Nana or Papa Smith or even Noah, depending on his deepest allegiances. Would be fucking cunning as hell, but make anonymous reports, watch her spiral on camera no less, collect bebe custody, perhaps?

Notice that they have decided that "the harassment is more than likely coming from" here. They're specifically talking about KF and blaming the harassment on us, in spite of the countless posts in this thread that are variations on "STOP CALLING CPS AND INTERFERING, DAMMIT." I think they've probably decided that they can safely blame KF for the calls, pizzas, and so on-- after all, this place already has a bad reputation, it's currently harder to find us to see what's being said (harder meaning not necessarily just a google away), and some people just refuse to come here.

Therefore, even though it's that very subreddit that constantly discusses calling DCFS, discusses reporting Alex for public nudity, and openly admits to making contact with Noah over and over-- no, safer just to blame Kiwi Farms. They're 100% scapegoating us. Before they decided that we're at fault, they were thinking that the calls were coming from people living in the Smiths' neighborhood. That was always improbable, so they've just collectively decided that we make more sense.

On a related note: I wonder why the harassment has suddenly ramped up? That's if everything Alex is claiming is true, of course. I do believe the CPS visits are happening, but I could go either way on the rest of it. If it's all happening as she says it is, then this past week or so has had a rapid increase in the amount and type of interference. Before this, it was just the CPS calls. Now we've got pizzas, police reports, email signups, and texts to Noah, plus people trying to buy the Smith house (if those calls weren't just those calls and texts everyone gets).

If all the calls and texts are legit, someone found out some phone numbers-- and, again, no phone numbers have ever been posted here. When Alex said people were signing her up for all sorts of emails, I assumed she meant her business email, which is listed everywhere, but she didn't actually specify (at least not that I heard).

It’s stupid to bother pizza delivery folk who do a hard job and often pay for their own gas, so I hope it’s just Alex making it up.

Alex wants to be seen as a normal, sexy young mom who just happens to be in a wheelchair, but who lives an otherwise healthy life…..or she either wants to be seen as a victim of dark forces that are hurting a poor innocent disabled girl. Alex seems to think she should both be admired and pitied for her disability depending on her needs.

People who have been online their entire life should understand that the best way to handle haters is ignore them, and pretend it’s not happening. Don’t announce how much it bugs you because then people feel they are effective and will keep doing it.

I don’t know why so many are incapable of not reacting, seems like Internet 1a, but if they were able to keep control, they wouldn’t be the cows we love so much.

I've never had pizza delivery that let me pay when it was delivered. I've had the option of paying at pickup but not delivery. That also puts the driver at risk of being robbed if they're carrying cash. Maybe some places allow it but I doubt it's common. Regardless, I think she's full of shit.

Helpful info. I didn't realize it was still a thing. But I guess if you can trust people to behave with their pizza delivery then I guess there would be no reason to discontinue it.

I feel like she thinks equality = her disability protecting her from any and all criticism when in reality equality = we will judge her as harshly as any nondisabled cow.

I agree with all of you. Alex's disability isn't something to pick on. She's had a hard row to hoe in life as far as that goes, and I'd never argue otherwise. However, she also seems to be a spoiled brat and just a generally unpleasant person-- one who just so happens to embody every lolcow trait out there.

I would also argue that it's extremely ableist to portray disabled people as being immune from criticism. There are actually people who think that physically or mentally disabled people are all innocent angels who can't possibly be held responsible for anything, bless their helpless hearts. That's a stupid and ableist perspective, but it does exist, and Alex uses that perception as a shield when it suits her.

Chantal always yells that people hate her because she's fat, because making that claim is way easier than acknowledging that people hate her because of her nasty personality and horrible actions. Alex does the same thing with disability.

There are indeed two siblings living there. They're never on camera, I assume by their own request. I've never dug deeply into any of the siblings, because I really don't want to involve them in all this mess. There's one other sibling (the eldest brother) who's married and lives with his own wife and kids. There's zero sign that the other three siblings are in any way maladjusted, but they all seem to keep a low profile (good for them). I feel sorry for the other two at home; all of this must be hard for them.

Alex hasn't posted much at all; as someone already suggested, she's probably busy reading her threads on the various forums she previously didn't know existed. She did post a grid post yesterday, so enjoy watching Ari be unimpressed with this swinging session:

Her flat little expression and lack of affect with her mother speaks to a lack of attachment. She's completely ignoring Alex, no matter what Alex does.

Of course, I'm only basing this on one short video and what we've already observed, but given that we've seen Ari engage positively with her dad and grandad, it doesn't bode well.

Ari is consistently uninterested in Alex, though it's certainly possible that she also hated the swings. Alex said it was the her first time swinging, so she may have just been confused and displeased.

Alex must never have been around children at all, because she has no clue how to interact with them. Noah didn't have a clue, but he's improving, and it shows in how much Ari lights up when she sees him.

She posted this video of her feeding Ari a week or so ago, and it's interesting to see how disinterested Ari is. It's also interesting to see that Alex can't tell that Ari doesn't want to be fed with the spoon; she wants to pick food up off the tray with her hands (which is what she's been doing for some time now). I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that a narcissist can't tell what people are thinking.
